I haven’t had smoked whitefish since I grew up in Minnesota. My dad used to stop in at Moreys fish house on our way through Onamia and buy caraway weed cheese and smoked white fish. Great video Nick.

I usually eat mine fresh just boiled in seasoned water or microwaved with butter. They are super simple and excellent table fare when cleaned properly (no dark meat). Smoked ones are also great. Thanks for sharing your experience.

HI Nick. How far is your camera from your bait. I've been fishing Southern Green Bay and the water clarity usually doesnt allow me to be more than about 2.5 to 3 feet away. Again, great video.
@NoFishNicksAdventures2 жыл бұрын
Hey Jerry, the camera was about 8 feet away on this spot.

Hi Nick, When you boat salmon and trout how do you manage the fish slime to keep from making a big, slippery mess on your carpeted floor? Thanks for your help!
@NoFishNicksAdventures2 жыл бұрын
Salmon are not slimy. You get them on the deck give them a whack 😴. Plus I bleed them out in my forward live-well for 10 -15 minutes. My carpet does not retain much water so when it does get wet and bloody we just splash water on the area and it drys very quickly.

Hello Nick, where can I get a fish tong that you’re using?

You have to make them.

Hi Nick, As I recall you use your electric trolling motor to steer your boat while salmon trolling. What trolling motor (make, model, volts, thrust, shaft length) do you use on your salmon boat? Thanks Nick!
@NoFishNicksAdventures2 жыл бұрын
Hello Scott, yes I do use a 24 volt 60" shaft Minn Kota ulterra as my auto pilot. Works good until the waves start growing over 3ft.
