Beautiful singing. My eyes are wet with tears. I remember when I was a boy, I used to listen to this song performed on a record of music from MGM movies from the movie Kismet. I teach piano, and sometimes I have a student play this melody, and show them the clip of this song from the movie. Next time, I'd like to show this video. I am glad to hear the high note at the end.

She's wonderful, he's good but doesn't make me forget Dick Kiley. The domestic setting (pandemic accommodation, probably) is a bit discordant, in a song about the wonderment of love at first sight. Meet the love of your life in a mysterious garden, not knowing his/her name, but transformed by it doesn't equate to sharing the ironing (however happy that may be). Kismet is a wonderful show, with one of the best scores of any during the classic era of Broadway musicals. It's rarely, if ever, done these days, much to my regret. That's probably because it requires large forces that are inconsistent with current theater economics and the fact that the show involves cultural appropriation on steroids.

I feel I've been missing out on these 2 beautiful singer I've only just discovered that Julian can sing. I've seen him in Foils War and Downton Abby but never heard him sing until the Rogers and Hammerstein 70th anniversary, and I haven't stopped looking and listening since. I'm 92 and I've seen and listened to some beautiful voices but these are on my daily Playlist now.❤❤❤❤❤

Too many mornings Waking and pretending I reach for you Thousands of mornings Dreaming of my girl All that time wasted Merely passing through Time I could've spent so content Wasting time with you Too many mornings Wishing that the room might be filled with you Morning to morning Turning into days All the days that I thought would never end All the nights With another day to spend All those times I'd look up to see Sally standing at the door Sally moving to the bed Sally resting in my arms With her head against my head How I planned What I'd wear tonight, and when should I get here How should I find you Where I'd stand What I'd say in case you didn't remember How I'd remind you You remembered And my fears were gone What a memory Did I ever love you this much? Did we ever feel so happy then? It was always real (I should have worn green) And I've always loved you this much (I wore green the last time) We can always feel this happy (the time I was happy) Too many mornings Wasted in pretending I reach for you How many mornings Are there still to come? How much time can we hope that there will be? Not much time But it's time enough for me If there's time to look up and see Sally standing at the door Sally moving to the bed Sally resting in my arms (Sally resting in your arms) With your head against my head
