Im usually around 35-45mph between 4500-6000k rpm. I pop the clutch not slip. Slipping the clutch will drag and can potentially catch later unexpectedly. That can make you loop easily if you’re not expecting it.

@@deputydog95 Do you have a clip of what you’re doing? Yes, all my wheelies are clutch ups. Are you using the Termi system with the upmap?

@@ClutchFirst no video.... I have the factory termi exhaust with the factory tune and air filter. I have it in wheelie control mode 1, which should be wheelie assist mode with the tune.

@@deputydog95 you might want to explore the options/Settings. I don’t have an exhaust system on mine yet but I turned off all the safety settings. DEC 3. ABS Off. DTC Off. DSC Off. DWC Off. At that point I’m in full control keeping the bike from looping. Having those system off won’t allow the system to cut the power during clutch ups. Thank you for watching. Thanks for the tip. I practice 1st, 2nd and 3rd. I understand what you're saying though but it's all about the individual. 1st is extremely abrupt and it helped a lot with memorizing my rear brake reaction time. I wouldn't suggest it for everyone though. By the time I was clutching up in second, it was like second nature and it felt like things are happing way slower. I'm actually not a fan of the new Monster design wise. It's has a nice engine but design wise, it's not my style. I give Ducati created for doing a nice job with weight reduction though. My all time favorite Ducati Monster is the 2018 1200S.

@@hypermotardking I have a KTM 1290 SD R and I'm either looking for a KTM 690 SMC R or a Yamaha R1 (2015-2022). I want the 690 SMC R for the fun factor but then I'd like to try a cross plane R1 with a SC project! The problem is I have space for all 3 but I'm not financially "rich" to maintain 3 bikes....I might get away with 2 in the garage....Plus I don't ride often just once or twice a week as I live in Ireland and the weather is shit anyway plus I work 9 to 5 so I don't have time....What do you think is a better idea? The 690 SMC R or the R1?
