The music therapy conversation reminded me of a lady that lived in the nursing home I used to work at. She couldn’t talk anymore, only making small noises or grunts when she was upset. But one day there was an Elvis impersonator in the home and she suddenly started singing every single word, it was amazing ❤

This was so interesting ❤ you always have great guests. (Ps when I was in the hospital they gave me a lavender scented thing that was to help with nausea) I wasn’t a fan so I’ll try the scents recommended by Tiana 😊

I’d like to ask a question. Penny mentioned the mother shouldn’t have had to get that paperwork to prove a DNR and they should have just taken her word right then and there. To me, that could be detrimental if the person giving the orders has malice intention and gives the opposite order than what the orders actual state. Does that happen a lot? Both ways can be detrimental, if the person actually has a DNR and gets stabilized, or if they don’t have a DNR and don’t get the help to be stabilized. I’m just trying to understand your stance on that one, or if I’m misunderstanding, or don’t have all the information. Thanks!

Since Covid there have been many sudden deaths, leaving families in shock and incomprehension, particularly young cardiac events. How would you consider support in this instance?
