The government may not have taken away your guns but they have taken away your attention span for living freely. Everyone in your world is too afraid to do anything. You allow the supplemental reasoning provided by mainstream media to integrate with your psyche. When you live in fear, your soul is hindered and cant deal with things on the plane of objective truth. For example, how you think the criminal justice system works is VERY different from how it knows how it operates. It sees you all as just checkpoints and checklists. You on the otherhand see things as some general reality which is largely influenced by the entertainment industry. In the end....You are all prisoners whose eyes have adjusted to the dark in a cave. And you are the younger generations who have gaslit yourselves into saying that its too bright outside where the sun shines. Anyways. Im hungry and Im going to make some chocolate chip cookies now.

You do realize that a secret gun room will not protect them in the event of a fire like a large safe would.

Add some kind of magnetic lock to the mirror so that if someone was to try to check the mirror, it doesn't move and it seems screwed to the wall rather than slide and discover the door, which can easily be busted through, even the drywall is easy to get thru. So concealment is like you said the key aspect of the security of it all.

For my WIFI security camera and alarm enabled friends. Just know that these systems are easily defeated nowadays. While I like the witness to the crime stored on the cloud where it can't be stolen (very easily) it can be blinded with signal jammers that prevent the event from ever being recorded or relayed to you or your security monitoring company in real time.

Really nice work! Only thing I would do different is the location of that door and mirror! I would have put it either in middle or close to other wall. Nobody hangs mirrors by windows it looks like its covering something up but I get it if your always home its not that important.

Just finished mine in an old laundry room. I used the Gladiator slat wall system since I have the same in my garage. Swapped out my slat door for a steel door with an inside deadbolt. Also just carpeted mine. 3 shelf system (stained pine) added for another 20 ammo boxes and accessories. Added radios, weather radio, Faraday bags, mounted Gladiator shelves, and bins. I'm very happy with it but I forgot one thing. With the steel door it makes the room almost airtight and I need to build a vent into my crawlspace.

1. Now that you posted this video, your hidden gun room is no longer hidden. 2. The mirror is out of place in the room. Why would anyone put a mirror next to a wall and window? 3. Anyone with knowledge of these hidden doors, mirrors, and such will recognize that mirror as a hidden door. 4. why didn't you put some Rockwool insulation in the wall? It would help deaden any sounds in that room if your wife and kids use it as a safe room. 5. install cameras in the main part of the house and set up a monitor system so you can see where people are in your house.
