How it looks in long term run? I'm considering this one for indoor interviews because it's 3 x cheaper than Godox VL150. But most people recommend VL series.

Thanks for the video. But you sit there with a Mac and install it under Windows. Doesn't help me at all. I have tried it under Boootcamp too, but my Mac doesn't find the Trigger via USB. The workaround via Mac’s terminal doesn't work either.

Greetings David, you know my SL 100 W once i bought it it worked perfectly and then all of a sudden it stopped working, the led screen turns on and off and the LED just does not work, I would like to know if you have any knowledge of that being solved. please help me

Hi David I have a 622n-tx which tells me it has version 1.12 up installed. The website lists 1.08 as the latest but it is a few years old so just wondering what is right here. Using Nikon camera if that matters.

Hi and thank you for the comparison. It's from 2016 but stills valuable to me as I just got the SL-100w and was looking for some pointers including working around the fan noise and replacing it a 3rd party, output, flickering in certain frame rates ..etc. I notice that it's not popular in the US like the SL-60 , 150 and 200. I will be using it mainly for video.

Hi, David! I see you are on a MAC and the little screen shows Windows. I have a Mac and after I download the folder I can't open the file to install. It says It is for windows. I've tried through terminal but no effect. I've tried Mac links, supposedly but no success. Any tip? Thanks for the video!

The remote white balance is ment for a third version of these that has switchable in bi colour. They only produced the one controller. Just wait! But the output will only be half since its bi color.

Checking the firmware version of my 622 TX Canon, it shows 1.13. I am assuming this is later than 1.05. Am I correct? Thanks.

Hi David - i'm using my YN622N-TX to control my SB800 from my D750. Everything seems to work ok apart from the flash doesnt zoom when i zoom on my lens. Have you any idea what might be causing this ?

Godox SL100W vs Cheetah CL360 is not comparable. one is continuous light, the other strobe/speedlight. Try shooting videos with speedlights...

I have this kit. TX Controller attached to the camera and 622c to the flash. When I am far from the camera I want to change the flash power directly from the flash. The problem is I change the power value from the flash, push the button but it finally gives the controller's value. Do you know how to do it?

Hi, I have two soft boxes with a Balcar{Alien Bee} ring and two with Bowen rings{Flashpoint explor 600}. My question is, buying the Speed pro S bracket, how will I mount both types of rings{soft boxes} to it? Do I need to purchase adapters for the Speed pro S? Thanks, William

Have a problem with my YN 622N-TX. I use it on a D7200 and it bousen't trigger when I press the shutter on the camera. The test button triggers the flash but not when I try to take a photo.

Nice, may I ask if how long can this light be used after it gets hot? I was planning on getting two of this for a photobooth business, and it will be used for three or more long contineous hours.

THe controller works with BiColor units that you can dial in the color temperature.

I bought 2 lamps of these 150 w, shoot with a lot of power, the defect they have is the cooling system that throws the hot air to the front where the LED is, therefore when you mount some accessory on the front To make the light diffuse, it begins to raise the temperature until it goes out, I think the cooling system of aputure is much better since it has 2 fans that throw the heat out in the back, the price difference if It is huge, I would like to buy aputure but for now my budget does not allow it

Hi David, thanks for your video, it helpt me out to update the tranceiver. But the controller YN622C-TX is not connecting to PC via USB port (tried 2 PC's, several USB en new cable). Firmware now is 1.08; new firmware is 1.10. Any idea for a solution?

Based on your experience with the SL100, do you think the SL200 would be suitable for use in a 48" parabolic reflector with beauty dish plate (RB-120 specifically). I have been using a TT685 with great results but am looking to switch to continuous lighting. Would the output be anywhere near a hotshoe flash like the TT685?
