Folklore is one of the games on my Ebay watchlist. I'm finding that the last few PS3 games I want to pick up are expensive as well. Incidentally, I used to have the same little white art deco boombox that you have on your top shelf. I think mine was from Radio Shack, although I seem to recall Sanyo making one similar to it.

I dropped 1240 the last two weeks. I don't usually do that... but it was really great stuff, great prices, and I knew I had enough stuff to sell to make up for such a big dip into finances. Need to get to selling some stuff now for sure but it'll be alright. Have to take a break till I can save back up to at least the minimum of where I need to be money wise. Thrifting is insanely popular in my small little town for some reason, so finding video games or anything of value at any thrift store around me is very rare. It sucks.

For collecting, it's fine to sell stuff. Unless your a completionist then you don't need to hoard. Collect what you like. As for selling to a store or selling on ebay I prefer the store, quicker return in credit or cash, as opposed to listing, waiting till it sells, price drops, and shipping

I know im way late to this video, but some insight on the gamestop "new" games from someone who worked there. Those are the gutted case copies of our new games. When we get new games we have to gut one of them to put on the shelf, eventually that copy does become our last new copy and will be sold unwrapped. But the disc and any codes or inserts are unused. Hope this helps for anyone confused. 👍

Its one of those things where I'll go to 10 op shops and find no video games then suddenly one place has a whole row of random games that just got donated. Last week I snatched up a copy of Zelda Wind Waker limited edition for Gamecube for $3 and thats a $150 game. Straight into the collection! It's just all luck and timing.

For the most part of a game has text on the back of the cover art then there is no manual

here in las vegas i live close to 5 good wills and i find around 1 game within 8 months. it’s so rare here. it’s the same in southern california. they must be listing them on their website asap once someone donates them.

Im not sure if anyone recommended it in the comments yet, but the best way to get labels off of art work is to use BESTINE SOLVENT AND THINNER! Ive used it on many many labels on cover art and it takes the label right off after soaking a part of paper towel and rubbing it on the sticker. As far as ive used it, it hasnt damaged the cover art. I didnt use too much, and was very careful, but it took it off without any residue behind. Just a recommendation, try it out once on a low dollar game and see how well it works!
