Ok a tip for ads, go to privacy and data in your settings and switch EVERYTHING off. Except maybe the video download thing at the bottom. Idk if I’m just weirdly lucky or smth but I get maybe one or two ads here and there so I think this helps

There are often inspirational books covering various art styles and topics for more ideas. (I'm in San Diego, and am referencing the DT Central branch if anyone is in the area)

It's always felt a slimy using Pinterest because in most cases, it's so hard to find the original creator. But it definitely passed a threshold where it has no value for me with the proliferation of the AI image results. It's now slimy, and there's hardly any variety left in the results due to the way most AI generated images look like an averaging of everything attention grabbing. Thank you for sharing these alternatives!

If I want to make the first scarf bigger or thinner do I have to subtract/add loops multiplied by 3 or 4. so do I have to chain 31/37 (depending on making it thinner/thicker) or do I have to chain 30/38 (again depending on thinner or thicker) Thank you so much for that tutorial!!❤

Today KZbin recommended me a Short but the person made their video WAY too fast to be useful, and someone recommended you in the replies! I'm so glad they did because this tutorial not only helped make the instructions clearer but also the way you change colors is so clever!

For anyone curious, I noticed a while ago that the ads seemed blatantly and unapologetically overwhelming in quantity, so I scrolled for a while and added up everything I saw to get some actual numbers. Guys... roughly 40% of the pins I scrolled past were advertisements, and HALF of the remaining 60% of "real" pins were from partnered users or linked directly to some product being sold. You're not crazy for feeling like it's majority advertising, it genuinely IS. And you are right to be upset about it.

Been wanting to watch this video for a while and... the clickbait is disappointing. I wanted to hear more about the negatives of Pinterest (especially the rampant image/art theft) instead of just "there's to many ads". There are so many other ways you could have worded the title. Also loads of these aren't even like Pinterest at all, they're just specific resources for specific purposes...
