Too high of a temperature for smoke. No smoke flavor at all. I should have mentioned that. It was a simple cook with great results.
@dhenschel4
@dhenschel4 15 күн бұрын
@@GregRocheleau I guess you don't need the rotisserie if you were going to smoke, this was really a grill at that temperature. The rotisserie really prepares meat well, whether it be beef, pork, chicken, etc, likely due to keeping the juices in the meat during the cook. I had a friend recently comment he didn't like smoked meat because it is too dry - but I told him it was likely the chef didn't spray the meat during the smoke is my guess.

Handles upside down, thing you call bearing, backwards, chicken not centered on spit. What the company that built the rotisserie did wrong, they should have off centered the spit so there is little space to the front and more space to the back, so a tall burquette holder could be used to provide horizontal infrared heat. Thanks for the video.

@GregRocheleau
@GregRocheleau 22 күн бұрын
It burns very similar to a pellet grill. It burns very clean and little smoke. The only time I have smoke is when I close the slide and starve the fire or I didn’t have the slide open enough to feed the pellets into the burning chamber.
