Hahaha! I can shed some light on that. Alexis is a very physical actor and likes to move a lot when he plays. To make matters worse, our gaming chairs all have wheels. So, Alexis has a habit of rolling out of frame. Our solution? Zip tie Alexis and Anais’ chairs together. Hence, the “get along chair”

@@infinitesideddice super super insightful! I’ll be keeping an eye on that for our eventual game. I think it’s Deborah Ann Woll that said “you don’t play to win, you play to tell a story” or something of the like and it really stuck with me and feels really really true with how you folks play

We do try to get more close ups as the season goes on. Usually I’m so frantically painting and building to get ready for shooting I don’t think to grab a camera unfortunately. The terrain is mostly 3d prints of Saucermen stls this season, but Dreamland and all the terrain from season 1 is mostly xps foam builds done by Garrett at Green Tower Games. We are both big fans of Black Magic Craft whose early videos give really good instruction on those types of builds. As far as painting goes, the best thing to do is practice. I like Squidmar and Ninjon, as well as Goobertown and Dana Howl for more step by step miniature instruction 💜💛

There’s a little debate about this. Our game takes begins in 2045 which is near the end of the Time of the Red. Netwatch was secretly developing the Black Wall in 2044 but it’s unclear when and to what degree it was deployed, only that it was active in the late 40’s. There’s also some mystery around who Netwatch may or may not have been collaborating with. I will add that at the time this episode was recorded, none of us had yet played the 2077 video game so any lore from that won’t really apply to this game. Don’t forget, at the end of the day, each table is it’s own Night City, and the actions of the players at the table and world building of the referee will shape them into their own facet of the cyberpunk multiverse. We have talked about incorporating some of those rules. This story is still 30 years before 2077 so the tech isn’t quite there yet

@infinitesideddice That's true it would have to be a big corp secret tech if at all at this point, and being able to quickhack in a world without self-ice would be too OP. I'm still excited to see where the series goes. It's an interesting story with wild challenges and fun role play.

MaxTac definitely exists in NC and this could have gone waaaay worse than it did. Yes, the dice went their way, but also they really used some tactical thinking and some clever tricks to handle this situation like bonafide edgerunners

So there’s a bit of « woops we walked ourselves into this one » here. I almost missed it to. If you remember, Shitwrecked and team (mostly Shitwrecked) was negotiating with Jericho to have more men, and he basically said, we are all waiting to crash down on something like this, but without any proof we have no jurisdiction, BUT if you have sufficient proof we are there with an army of our forces and we’ll bring all hell down on them. Which WOULD have worked out if they needed them, but in the end, they took care of it (at least for now, haven’t watched 8 yet) and go Ajax’s men. SO if they sent the cult leader to Jericho, that would be way more than enough proof for the NCPD to storm the place to dismantle the opperation and therefore taking down the old computer networks that the team is hoping to check out further later which would break Martian’s heart since she’s looking forward to exploring the IO thing and potentially damage or shut down the conciousness of Shitwreckeds friend. So in short too many things left open for them to risk the cops digging in just to get rid of some dude they don’t want to kill.
