Inspiring as ever! I plan to get the rc 500 after payday. now thinking I must hook up my arturia beatstep. could then also assign the buttons to loop functions too.

I have one and i enjoy it. I got mine through zzounds. They let you pay by the month for gear otherwise I’d never get to use cool things like this loop station. It is more costly than alot of other loopers but you’re getting two looper’s really plus a drum machine so it’s definitely worth it. Took awhile to learn how to use it but it was my first loop pedal too.

Awesome video man. Inspiring and I might have to finally get this setup.

I have a RC-500 I’d love more content showing its capabilities. Your looping is great ! I been thinking about getting a little MIDI keyboard but don’t want a computer on stage with me. Appreciate ya !

Hey man, amazing video! I have an RC-500 and am now thinking about buying the The LaunchKey Mini MK3 and use it like you show in the video, but I don't understand how you set up the pads to control the separate drum sounds of the RC-500 and the knob to change the kits. Can you maybe make a video of that process or is it possible to contact you personally? I could subscribe to your patreon for that if you want.

Additional question: Do the colours of the pads represent the notes or did you set the colours yourself? Knowing that would help with the mapping process a lot.

Great work. Perhaps I missed this but does it quantize the beats?

I was watching a tutorial on eytschpi42 and it looks like you can set the rhythm output to be recorded on the looper in the internal routing without using your loop back cable!

Oh that would be great! I have to find that feature

This is what a 10 armed drummer would sound like!! Insane!!!

Thanks I like that. Haha never thought of it that way. That's good

That is pretty awesome. I have two questions: for the custom settings you use external software? When I do the audio out/in loop I get noisy feedback - how do you setup to get a clear sound? Thanks!

How good is the velocity sensitivity for this and can you change the sensitivity range? I'm torn between the Akai MPK MK3 and this for programming "natural" drums and think I need to prioritize the sensitivity for natural drum dynamics. Cheers for the informative vid otherwise!

I don't think there is sensitivity range customization but I'm really happy with how the default sensitivity is, I can play soft and heavy pretty easily

Can you review the BOSS RC-500 Loop Station Guitar Effects Pedal?

where did you get those cool bigger finger buttons for your rc-500?
@BoneZone2 жыл бұрын
Oh those are on Amazon. They are called pedal toppers. I was happy when I discovered them!

@@BoneZone cool thanks, looks nice aesthetically. So, does this mean I could use my rc500 drums on my Keystep pro? that would be a game changer, need to order one of those pesky midi cables to test it out.

I don't see why not. That sounds like it would work to me.
