Two Musicians, One Looper. Guitar and Cello Boss RC600 Performance

The Chris Woods Groove Orchestra performing live with the BOSS RC-600 Loopstation. The audio was recorded using mainly the output direct from the pedal itself. As well as a blend of the direct out from the BOSS CUBE STREET II and a tiny splash of the ambient mic to show the 'in the room' sound.

Hello. Really nice piece of music. I just upgraded from rc-50 to RC-600, and was looking for inspiration... You definitly hit the nail ! Thank you so much. Your other video on getting creative with rc FX was really fun and inspiring too. I was wondering something. Do you go straight to the rc, or do you process your guitar sound before going in ? I'm guessing the guitar is a big part of it, to start with. And the beautiful mics in the room sure helps a lot ! I'm currently trying my luck with some IR pedals and EQs to get the sound I really want from my acoustic. I was wondering about your process, because it sounds awesome.

Excellant Jam,you play off of each other very well. You must have been playing together for quite some time? 1st time I've seen 2 players on the same looper!RC-600 has enough tracks and seperate ins and outs to do that.Something else I've seen on your channel,to try..Best Regards..😁👍

Beautiful.. Does anyone who has the boss RC 600 know how to set pedal up so it loops different instruments on different channels? Basically I want to be able to loop me and my pianist friend but independently without looping the two of us. I hope this makes sense

Hi there, Firstly... thank you. Do you mean like in this video? If so... you just need to assign specific inputs to specific tracks. so for example the piano could be in input 1 going to track/loop 1...where as guitar could be on input 2 going to track/loop 2... meaning you could record on track 1 but would only capture the sound of the guitar even if the piano is playing... hope that helps
