Macedonia only and do not come again until you learn that!!!!

You do realize that this is not common knowledge for foreigners. I understand and will now only call the country Macedonia. I did not intend to offend anyone. I do find it funny that your username is Love78787 but you are saying mean things. Either way, thanks for watching our video and supporting our channel.

@JasonandMelissaTravel Use the Holy Bible it is basic knowledge and Thank you 😇 We the Macedonians rejected the prespa agreement on the Macedonian referendum aganst eu and nato membership but we are not Russia or Serbia to go to war aganst NATO and eu member states and that is why the new Macedonian government won as never before in the Macedonian history in order to end the prespa agreement that is imposed aganst the will of the Macedonian people.

I lived in the palace for over three years. My apartment was across from D-16 overlooking the garden. I miss it, except for the height of tourist season when it's packed with tour groups. P.S. I really appreciate the fact that you pronounce things correctly. Nothing is more irksome than travel vloggers who just say things the way they want, not the way it is. :)

Been looking to retire somewhere w/o cold weather and a low cost of living. -- They have winter weather there (?) not something I am very fond of. S E Asia appeals to me more for the warm weather and much lower cost of living to be had ! -- Language is another issue for longer term stays and daily needs in Albania - perhaps better for vacation ? Menus are even difficult to understand ? > Cambodia has an awesome 'retirement visa' for expats over 55 ! Only $290 / year thru any travel agent. Cheap and easy with no BS qualifications. Siem Reap has US expats reporting living there quite comfortably on - ABOUT - $800 / mo. Social Security only - and - "not wanting for anything" ? Many locals speak English there and business signs road signs and menus are in English as well ! They even accept the USD !!! -- Worthy of a visit in my view - but we are all different - so some are sure not to like it ? -- I enjoyed your video and watch many of these in order to better decide where I might really enjoy my retirement for a home base - to travel from often. ❤👍🙏✌🍺

Is there anyway you guys could be a little more specific with your food costs? When you say for example $900 on going out- would you mind saying something like ‘We went out on average 10 times per week, 5 of which were sit down places on the higher side.’ It would really help the rest us budget. Thank you very much.

Would Melissa feel safe alone there?
@JasonandMelissaTravel18 күн бұрын
Hi there! I would absolutely feel comfortable traveling by myself to PDC. I would stick to the “tourist” areas of course and possibly avoid some of the areas where the tourists do not typically go. It’s fairly easy to recognize these areas. I never felt threatened or uneasy during our month there. I would venture off by myself to run errands or get my nails done. Thank you so much for watching our video and for the question. ❤️ Melissa

How long do you have to stay out of the Schengen zone prior to returning?
@JasonandMelissaTravel18 күн бұрын
With a U.S. passport we are able to stay in the Schengen zone for 90 days out of 180 days. So for example if you stayed in the Schengen zone for 90 days straight, you would then need to be out of the Schengen zone for 90 days before returning. Once you return you would then have another 90 days out of 180 days. I hope this makes sense. You can also enter and exit the Schengen during your 90/180 to spread your days out. I have included a Schengen calculator so you can take a look and see how it works a bit better. Thank you for watching our videos and for the question! schengencalculator.net ❤️ Jason and Melissa

In regard to the restaurant total, what would you say was the average cost of a meal?
@JasonandMelissaTravel24 күн бұрын
Thanks for watching our video! The average cost of a sit down restaurant meal would be somewhere around 9-14 U.S. dollars. Our bill was usually a bit higher because we would purchase drinks or a bottle of wine with dinner. I would definitely say around $12 was average for one meal. ❤️ Jason and Melissa

Please only say *Macedonia* in your future videos because North *#Macedonia* is the only country in the world that has the name *Macedonia* in its own name. There is no other country that has the name *Macedonia* in its own name. The addition of North to the name *Macedonia* was made through racist coercion by people who do not want to accept that over the last 15 centuries the *Macedonian people* adopted the Slavic language and mixed with the southernmost Slavs. Please do not support such racist and even fascist world views as those supported by the EU and NATO, because such behavior reveals the worst hypocrisy. We as children of *God* should not be hypocrites, racists, fascists, ... or anything similar.

What's a good amount to tip sailboat tour guide? Also, any lagoon safe sunscreen you recommend?
@JasonandMelissaTravelАй бұрын
We tipped our guide $40 USD for our trip. It was about 3 hours. As far as sunscreen and the lagoon, the use of sunscreen is prohibited in the lagoons around Bacalar. However, I absolutely cannot go with out sunscreen or I will fry. To minimize the amount of sunscreen I used I wore my long sleeve sun shirt and a hat. I only used sun block on my face and I used a nano particle mineral sunscreen which reduces the impact of the marine life. Hope that helps. Politicians need to respond to voters' apprehension. You see, in Southern Europe, the anger this past summer over tourists. Limiting tourism, banning Airbnbs, and things like that help politicians look like they are responding to concerns without doing much.
