Get the sensors checked too, bought a 2008 caprice got 375 kilometers on the first fillup or around 5.85kml / 13.78 mpg. Changed the spark plugs, mass airflow sensor and oxygen sensor, got the whole coolant system flushed and refilled, the engine flushed before replacing engine oil, replaced the transmission oil, and cleaned up and replaced the air filter system. Now it does 650 on a full tank or around 10.15 kmpl / 23.83 mpg. Not a great mileage by todays standard, but hey its a naturally aspirated V8 and this is the city mileage.

My transmission runs very smooth, however, after a fluid change, it wont shift into gear when cold. it's going into 90k. It was perfect before de fluid change.

Even if they tow the car gow can they get into it without key. How are they able to even get to the footage???I wonder if telsa if giving them access?
@GamezGuru113 күн бұрын
They probably just tow it to prevent the owner driving it away. they then contact the owner, explain that the car evidence, and ask them to come provide any footage.

Elections are around the corner and this administration has made deals with oil companies to lower the cost in exchange for favors if they win. Let’s not pretend these oil companies don’t have control over pricing.

certified car person here, it’s true that it’s not necessary but if you wanna go the extra mile (literally) use 91 or 93 on the newer turbocharged engines that recommend it because it limits damage from predetonation. it’s like a quality of life thing for your engine, like how the best beef comes from cows well cared for

Biggest word salad. Tdlr "Use 91 gas in your turbo car."
@zodoGames26 күн бұрын
That isn't true most new cars take regular. New developments have led to the ability to turbo charge engines without higher octanes.
@nexus.shadow26 күн бұрын
its always bugged me that in america 91 is considered high octane and you have 88 octane and fuel mixes with ethanol, in my country, 91 is the lowest octane you can buy, its used for older cars, boats, bikes etc, the next octane up is 95 and after that our highest octane at the pump is 98 octane
@lukaswhite36226 күн бұрын
I’m pretty sure North America uses a different scale than Europe. 87 is equivalent to 91 in the EU. 91/93 in NA is 95/98 in EU
@nickwilliams241526 күн бұрын
Europe uses RON (research octane number), US uses a mix of RON and MON (motor octane number) which is known as the Anti-knock index (AKI). 95 octane using RON is essentially the same as 91 AKI. There are some places in the US that offer 93, 95, or even 100 octane fuel using the AKI, therefore it's possible to find higher octane fuel in the US.
@TheTardis15726 күн бұрын
I have some old 928s. They require premium unless I get special coding plugs to tell the computers to run the low octane programming. Otherwise it will cause engine damage.
