Around 4:05 Rob said even if a round is chambered, if hammer is decocked then gun won’t fire unless you rack the slide again? I thought I read that you can chamber a round, decock, then just pull trigger for a first shot.

I've had my echelon for 6 months. Love the gun. I wish they come out with a 10 mm and a 45 version. Or come back with a XD 5-in 45 upgrade

Compact version is a must, but would be REALLY cool to have a micro compact version. Something to compete with the Sig p365x in terms of size. I love the Echelon as a lefty, it's perfect, I just want a carry version of it, and if there could be a comp version of that micro size I would buy it instantly!

But WHY? It's ALREADY the smoothest shooting full-size on the market!!! No bullshit, uncomped, it shoots almost as smoothly as my Shadow Systems MR920P. That's because it's designed like a Zev OZ9. The grip module is polymer, but the frame is steel, which is what soaks up the recoil & makes it so smooth. I have ZERO doubt THIS model will shoot like my MR920P, which is to say, with about as much recoil as a pellet gun. And I ABSOLUTELY look forward to renting & shooting 1. But I'm probably not gonna be saving my shekels to buy 1 when the standard model shoots so f-ing smoothly as is.

@springfield Please make a 10mm also.

I'm sure Springfield will be helping out you small handed shooters with a compact grip module, but for us guys with XL hands, the standard length grip module is perfect, as is the slide/barrel length. Stop carrying pistols pointed at your junk, kids, and wear them at 4 O'clock like God intended! 😅
