It’s not hard at all right? I did end up drilling into the metal bracket under the pedal and added a key ring but it’s really only for visual purposes. The function itself wasn’t improved. Cheers again man, I learnt a lot

@@marekmarzeta9146 Hey Marek, thank you for asking. For this hobie out back 2019+ its the snipe air industries seat risers! You also need to order the H-Rail risers to make it fit. In total you would be spending about 80$ roughly.

I have the exact same set-up. The 23' Conquest BFS quickly became my favorite BfS reel and on the Dobyns 650C or the 691C. It's Perfect.

Any issues with having that much weight on the bow of your Outback in rougher waters? I'm planning to add one to my Outback. I fish near shore is swells up to 3'. Nothing beyond that, my stomach can't take it.

@@coreyweinheimer5027 after a year of owning it..ive done 20mph winds and cresting chop on big lakes, its O-K. i dont really trust it, but i imagine even a bigger kayak owner would feel the same way. i say do it, fishing is no fun anyway 20mph+ winds.

@@losangelesbfs I just ordered an autoboat gps system. It's much cheaper and motor + autoboat is about 30 lbs compared to 44 lbs of Xi3. We will see how it goes. Thanks for your input.

I have the dobyns ultra finesse and this phenix BFS. I boat flip 3lbers with my dobyns. Would've even dare with the phenix. That tip is way to fragile.

@@TommyTheStriker youre absolutely right bro. I actually flipped my kayak couple months ago, the phenix rod tip snapped, and the dobyns survived 🤣. after a year ownership on the phenix, id rather prefer the dobyns for its all around versatility.0

its not bro!! i started off with a used 100$ sun dolphin journey 100ss. Just wanted to be able to hit cover i couldnt hit fishing from the bank. even a float tube is fine, anything to get you on the water to find fish. 🤙🏽

hi vjg! the fish finder is on a seperate 10ah battery thats below the hull. i believe with a yakpower system you can run everything off the main battery.

Dang, that was a big bass! I live a mile away from Lake Balboa and go jogging there often. A few people fish there, but I've never seen anyone catch a fish.

how are you liking the motorguide? Im about to buy one myself and follow your setup guide I think. Is it as good as you hoped? Ive heard a few reviews say spot lock hunts and the motor is slow to respond to the remote. Are you having any issues? Cheers.

hello!! Loving the motorguide! No issues on it so far. I dont think my kayak fishing has a ever been the same since. No need to anchor down. You can fish in the wind without drifting. No issues with the remote, and havent changed the batteries in over a year either. If i can recommend something, it would be going all marine grade wiring, and the marinco 70amp trolling motor plug and recepticle.

I got this rod just a couple of weeks ago and on my second trip the tip broke. Trying to decide to return or exchange. Hows is this rod holding up for you? @juliocanseco5207 commented its a little too fragile. Wonder if his broke too?

I have been using mine for a month on several trips. Still holding up. Base on the profile, I could see it being very fragile so I try to be more careful with the rod. Set the drag lightly to give it play if a big bass takes it. I enjoy fighting bass with this rod. Lots of fun.
