Viv once twetted something in the lines of: "what's wrong if a show becomes a fanfic of itself?". We got the answear: braindead plot animated well. Well we all have to admit. Viv beat the record for "how to avoid to tell what are the fellings of a mother about her own kid". Right now she holds the record of 2 seasons or 20 cursed episodes.

Your point about Via is fair, the push-pull is a bit confusing; I will allow them time to flesh out what's going on in her mind (as you reminded us what Viv said, they're supposed to be released closer together). I wish you well in all that you do, whether you continue this or not, it's been real and I hope you keep the Discord. Also, cool to put a face to the person 😊 Personal Reactions to/between episodes: When I see characters that I like having major flaws and screwing up (without that immediate arc), they become more real to me and I love them all the more for it. We all relate to them, being flawed ourselves, and (one would hope) still believing ourselves capable of growth and worthy of love. Throwing away characters for their flaws equates to throwing away ourselves and others for not meeting our expectations. Obviously we don't want them to stay that way forever but we get the pleasure of going on that journey with them. Whether it's Blitzø being an asshole or Stolas not self-reflecting on his privilege, I don't hold either up as an idol to be excused nor condemn the other. I'm here to watch them all grow. As long as that's happening, I'm here for it.

As a fan of the show It’s called helluva bod because blitz is a helluva boss
@MrGShock4 сағат бұрын
Ngl am im the only one thinking Blitz just doesn't feel like a main character. Like this entire season 2 been straight L's for Blitzo in terms of fighting. We never gotten a badass moment with Blitz where he takes stuff seriously and not be fucking around all the time. I love him, but like I hope they just stop making Blitz too dum every second when there's a battle or a life threatening situation and actually uses his skills as an assassin and hitman with guns against Andre like bro. I get that he Whipped out the sword but like bro didn't get a single hit on Andrealphus even when he was right front him when Andre grabbed him by the collar....he could've just punch him in the face????. All im saying is we need Blitz to win a fight that he have an advantage over someone next season and actually use whatever he knows and his experiences to win whatever it takes. At this point everybody could beat Blitz in a fight except Moxxie. The only fight Blitz had was with striker since season 1 and he lost...technically, but Ik for a fact he can't beat striker cause bro does not train or nothing all he has is acrobatics from being a clown to do stunts but doesn't even use them to his advantage in a fight. He's weak and Im upset as hell bro cause I thought Helluva Boss was supposed be a thing with action from the Boss himself. I loved the ep tho.

This is my biggest issue. The show is called helluva boss but when was the last helluva time someone did a boss? (See what I did there?) in season 1 there job was worked into at least 7 episodes, with it either being shown or it had something to do with a part of a episode. In season 2 I think only 3ish episodes even use it. Or bring it up to an extent. Hazbin hotel is about a hotel for redemption, helluva boss is about an imp and owl having drama and past issues. Nothing boss related lol.

I wouldn’t say there’s anything wrong with preemptively addressing potential counterpoints. It’s a standard debate tactic, and *as long as it is done in good faith,* (that is to say, as long as you are genuinely trying to accurately represent your opponent’s argument) it doesn’t qualify as a straw man argument. A straw man is necessarily a *misrepresentation* of your opponent’s position intended to make it easier to argue against.

Honestly I think the main thing that’s turning me off from Helluva Boss is the fact that the show changed so suddenly. It doesn’t feel like the same show anymore. It really lost its charm. Sure, the humor never really changed, but the whole vibe seems dependent on romance, which I personally don’t like. Maybe chalk it up to being Aro/Ace, idk, but still. When shows are completely dependent on romance as the plot, it really doesn’t feel realistic. Like no, Stolitz never would’ve realistically happened, and Blitzø never would’ve changed, especially so suddenly. If the plot stayed relevant to I.M.P, I feel like it would’ve kept its charm. I hate how suddenly it changed, mainly with Sinsmas. It felt way too rushed and quick paced, especially for a slow burn show like this.

Saying This As An Octavia Fan: I hope sometime in Season 3, Octavia will learn the **ACTUAL** truth about her mother and uncle. I don’t think Octavia hates her father deep down. Like she doesn’t want him to die. She’s just very upset that how he broker her promise about not abandoning her, but a part of me feels like Stella is being manipulative could be the possible factor. I think deep down Octavia still loves her father, but I feel like they both need to take time to reconcile with each other at some point in season 3 if Octavia does find out the actual truth. But then again, we may never know until Season 3 progresses. Also hope one day Stella and Andrealphus both get karma in either Season 3 or Season 4. Octavia finally confronting the both of them being one of them. Now I’m not saying it might happen immediately because 1. We don’t want the story to feel rushed 2. Stolas (and Octavia) probably still need more character development 3. Last time I heard…Season 3 is gonna mainly focus on Loona so chances are we **MAY** see Loona and Octavia interact with each other again in an episode or two, but we may never know. But yeah Sinsmas is my favorite episode overall so far.

Vivianne clearly said Brandon Rodgers is the reason the show is a drama. Stolas was supposed to be the villain, but once she asked him,"should the show be serious and funny or do you want it to be more of a drama?" He literally said a drama filled show. and it's obvious why it's called "Helluva Boss". who is the leader of IMP? Blitzo. the show is his and about him and his loving adventures with him and his crazy group of demons

i think the problem is when helluva boss was made hazbin was still you know supposed to be the main thing so they thought let's make a show that's an episodic comedy about demons murdering people but when hazbin got sidelined for helluva they thought well if hazbin can't be the serialized show let's make helluva boss into that they quickly made helluva boss into a serialized dramatic show with some jokes but the issue was they did it so fast people couldn't get used to the change it wasn't changing through a span of episodes and that was the problem and another issue was that helluva boss introduced most of it's villains or main story lines too late our first real "villain" debuted in ep 5 and it was striker and we got one scene that was like oh yeah btw stella was the one that made striker kill stolas even though striker says he hates royals and by the time we actually got to the whole stolas and blitz might like each other story line it debuted in the season finale and so we just get hit with these villains and storylines that weren't even hinted at in the first few episodes and had to be established in 1 episode now thank you for coming to my ted talk

Honestly, I do agree. It also doesn't help that Viv, so far, has been having a track record of her show plots going off the deep end relatively quickly. For Hazbin, it's slightly understandable as she only had been granted 8 episodes for season 1 and probably for other seasons as well, so she probably felt more pressured to get the whole story out, however Helluva... Yeah, it went off pitch way too quickly. There is nothing wrong with expanding a story but you feel cheated out of when you're pitched one thing but then ultimately given another.
@samiamtheman73795 сағат бұрын
Issue with Hazbin being she should've reformatted the show around her limited amount of episodes and not introduce a new character in almost every episode and expect you to care about them.

I feel like Helluva Boss is trying to pull a Moral Orel. Both shows start off very over-the-top and crude with exaggerated characters, but said characters are deconstructed later on. However, in Moral Orel's case, you can tell that was always the plan, so when it peels the layers back on it's characters, they still feel like the same characters from the first season since they still gave us hints that there was something more going on. But in Helluva Boss's case, it feels like the show was intended as an episodic comedy, but suddenly switched gears.

While it was a good episode that’s when I know I am watching a show different what I came here for. So seeing this show becoming a romcom made me lost interest quicky And judging from the interviews from Brandon and Vivzie. It looks like that Stolitz will be the end all be all of the show.

7:05 I know why Andrealphus attacked Blitzo, it's simple: "Fuck them Imps" :V Real Talk, Octavia hates Stolas. 'Hate' comes from having love for someone/something because that love was damaged, abused, fractured, etc. The pure opposite of 'love' is apathy. So, people can still care about someone even though they are furious with them, and Octavia does love Stolas but also hates him because he fractured their relationship, something she really cherished. But yeah, I'm frustrated with the scene as well, but I'm trying to explain things to feel less angry because I dun wanna XD
@bobbyserrano387210 сағат бұрын
32:51 Stolas never did look down on Blitzo all the little pet names he calls him were in a flirty manner because he had genuine feelings for Blitzo. I mean think about it he was forced into an arrangemarrage that he had no say on it and the marriage itself is very toxic because of how Stella treated him and that he was willing to put up with it for Octavia's sake. And he said it himself in circus that he had long for someone to genuinely love him and he thought it was Blitzo at first before he soon realized that Blitzo never loved him at all

@TeamFriendship86009 сағат бұрын
@RandomGameCritic Yeah, in the episodes that typically center around the assassinations, they typically start with I.M.P meeting a client and being assigned to a victim, whereas the catalyst of Spring Broken is essentially a bet between Blitzo and Verosika, with the assignments being more of an excuse. Technically it counts, but it doesn't quite abide by the typically plot structure of a job episode.

Damn, I completely forgot to mention this point. Octavia's decision to stay with her mother would be a lot more reasonable if Stella continued to be the master manipulator that she was shown to be when she hugged Octavia in the "Mastermind" episode. But as is, there is no world where Octavia could look at both of her parents and come to the conclusion that her mother loves her more than her father. I don't think that Octavia knows that Stella and Andrealphus tried to have Stolas killed, but it's still crazy that Octavia would stay with them over him.

@@RandomGameCritic Hello! great fan of your content; I'm on the side that thinks that Octavia is in the right here, and her reaction is plausible (she's a teenager, emotions are confusing) her mother could still be a master manipulator under the sheets but we don't see that yet we just see that Stolas misses her and that SHE feels unloved. She has been neglected by him in loo loo land by calling his booty call to join him, and was neglected in seeing stars since he was soooo busy with his wife instead of paying attention to his daughter. He always leaves her second plan after Blitz, and he did exactly what he promised he wouldn't do- put Octavia after Blitz as an afterthought. and as a teen like her that would be devastating, and the third time this has happened. She reasoning with the pills seem realistic, and Stolas NEEDS consequences for HIS choices. Maybe she didn't left because he 'abandoned' her for the imp, who knows? Welp, there's vivz poor writing there and there.
