But the oil filter is known for cracking and leaking. You should replace that piece of plastic with an aluminum part as well as several other parts. The engine needs special care to keep it operating well the replacement parts should be covered by the manufacture but they are not. Good luck and have fun replaceing crap parts.

Lots of people ask about ring gap on a gen 3 hemi so here you go its Alot of work but if this is done even on a stock motor you will be surprised how much power you could make.

Seems to me that using the proper oil 0W 40 synthetic Every six thousand miles can mitigate this problem. You cannot use alternative oils in this engine.

i got longtubes,3” pipe with x pipe, no cats, black widow widowmakers, and a cam on my 5.7. It sounds mean but at anymore than part throttle and less than wot it’s really clappy glass pack sounding. I was thinking about karnage series II or some of black widows quieter line up. But that’s a lot of money to switch to karnage and still have that loud clappy sound.

I’m at a 5/8 drop and I’m not sure what shocks to use at. There are not shocks that are made specifically for that drop in the rear so what type of shocks could I use in the rear ?

Dang, that sounds amazing! Is it just a muffler swap, or do you also have like 3" from the cat back? Because my 5th gen Ram, is so quiet compared to my cammed 2012 I had. The chop, the rumble, the sound. I'll for sure be getting long tubes for this truck, but dang they went up in price like crazy since I bought this truck in 2021. should of bought them then when I had the extra cash. Haha

@robertbois89 yes this cam would do well if you want a little bit more nasty then look at his titan 2 cam supercharger specific I'm putting one in my bge 392 build.
