Thanks mate, ive had my tank a year now growing my axolotl, hes now big enough the bioload is too much for the little internal one, but ive been too chicken to get all up in there with my metal "tools"😂 so ive just had an extra eheim canister put on it, looks so dumb and im taking it apart soon so ill be upgrading all the filtration finally. I have the OASE 350 in a 130L tank can’t say the flow that comes out of these filters is the greatest. Don’t see much plants swaying in the current possible spray bar too long 🤷‍♂️

Daniel hi. I was looking through the tiger barb videos and there you were. I kept these in the late 70s. When they were for a pound.. I stupidly only bought four. Soon there was one. 😉 I'm probably going out Monday to buy eight. Let's hope that this time all these years later I have finally learnt my lesson.lol

Thanks for showing how to set it. Got one of these 2nd hand and had no clue how to set it up properly, not to mention the light it came with worked at first then burnt out making me think it was a faulty unit, tried on a different light and bingo

If you ever do this again you should do it under pressure. I find many of them make a lot more noise if under 10-20 cm of water.

sure looks like the one in the tank has the other hole if you really wanted to swap it to the other side you clearly can ... maybe add the single hole filter in it's place and get double filtration - 2 problems solved for ya there hey?

Thank you this great, informative video! I have been keeping my three Pea Puffers in with two Kuhli loaches and three Albino Cory Catfish. They have a cave and an abundance of live plants covering 2/3 of the tank and a sand substrate. All are doing well, and its a peaceful setting. I feed frozen bloodworms, Rams horn snails and a wee tiny pinch of flake food - to ensure the Cory's and Kuhli loaches are getting enough to eat after they've cleaned up any mess leftover from the Puffers entrées.

I added 3 recently. They're killing off my young corys to my surprise. One was even bigger than the gobys. They bumrush them with their heads 😢😢 Mine are still young & not so peaceful 😢

Had a U2 for years. Totally silent. Got a U3 before upgrading to a bigger tank. Really noisy :(. Even sent it back and bought another one since I thought it was faulty. But it's still noisy.
