stayed at swag on a freezing rainy night, complete with a visit from a bear cub that came in for my food hang after i tried and failed to get a fire going and had just gotten into my tent. didn't sleep much that night and packed up the tent in 35 degree freezing rain the next morning and hauled butt to around the bend shelter!

I'm starting out at Amicalola Falls next week, with rain in the forecast. Debating staying in a shelter with mice vs. packing a wet tent. Have the shelters been very mousy so far?
