In this video we canoe and camp 25 miles down the Pearl River in Mississippi. The purpose of this video is to provide a general overview of what the terrain is like to become more familiar with this area. Attempt this at your own risk.

I have an “old Town” kayak. They are a great company. Beautiful area and awesome sunsets and sunrises. Looked like a great area for outdoor fun

@@BackpackingWithJason was telling the Mississippi Boys about you while we were out there. There is a bridge/friends in this area if you ever want to paddle this stretch. You would get along great with this crew.

Well that seemed like a lot of fun! Cool that you got to see the eagle. I was trout fishing the other day and one flew right in front of me really close down to the river didn't have my camera I was standing in the river with some waders completely missed it 😅

Truly amazing to see a bald eagle in the wild like that. Glad you have had that experience! This was 25 miles of paddling and we earned that moment in time!

We love canoe camping. You can get out away from everyone, while still carrying a few creature comforts. Have you ever been to the Okefenokee Swamp? One of my favorite places ever to go to. Need to get back soon.

This was my first time to MS too! Have not been to the swamp but it looks interesting! Will have to check that out.
