Wow. The custom character support is great - I haven't tried it yet but I love to know it's there. :-) Hey with your virtual production guide (I'm guessing you wrote it as it relies on your GitHub stuff?) it mentions a blueprint called "PositionCorrection_Blueprint". But FYI if you try to open the project with UE5.3.2, that Blueprint is missing. I'm going to install UE5.2.1, and see if that has the blueprint in it. UPDATE: It's actually because I deleted the plugin "Smartsuit" because it said it wasn't compatible with UE5.2 - and I assumed that the Rokoko main plugin would replace the functionality. But actually that "Smartsuit" folder is vital :-)

Hello, the current implementation only sends a start recording request using simpleobsws library. I see that there is a possibility to change a recording filename, as mentioned for instance here - github.com/obsproject/obs-websocket/issues/407 such a request have to be send before the recording I would imaging. But I'm not sure I will have some free time to add that at the moment...

Я у меня появились олд скульные камер optitreck Flex 100R2 ,Но нет никаких вариантов сейчас по софту из за не поддержки производителя и устаревшего аппарата. Подскажи можно ли где то старенькую арену выцепить и вообще какие варианты есть? Будем знакомы и дружить если нужна будет Анимация от меня с большим удовольствием сделаю !

Привет, да этот софт уже канул в лету, я попробую поискать по старым архивам если что-то осталось. Мы в студии вытаскивали облако точек и делали трекинг через плагин в motionbuilder.

Мне подсказал один знакомый, что новая Motive 3 (которая пришла на замену Arena), должна работать в том числе и со старыми камерами. У них довольно прогрессивный солвер, возможно что-то можно снять значительно лучше, чем с Ареном, так что если есть возможность купить лицензию или попросить пробную версию, рекомендую

Know of where i can find a video to do step by step installation?? i downloaded it, allowed it to go through set up and then after that im stuck. Do i just make a folder in my NVIDIA Corportation file named "NVIDIA AR SDK" or is there a special command for it? Been trying to get this to work for my face tracking of an avatar for twitch streams.

in most cases you have to make changes like put parentheses after print call, so it should look like print('hello world') or replace xrange with range, etc. I think you could find many relevant papers about migrating from python 2 to 3 on internet. here, for instance, an official notes for code porting - docs.python.org/3/howto/pyporting.html#learn-the-differences-between-python-2-3

Hello, did you follow the instruction I put in repository at "How to install" section github.com/Rokoko/UE-Switchboard-Devices So it's not only about having obs folder in the devices, but also about adding simpleobsws and websockets libraries into switchboard python site-packages. And yes, websockets have to be enabled in the obs itself.

Great stuff! The video description also mentions Xsens. Have you tried using this with MVN software? If not, dod you know where I can find any documentation about it? (I couldn't find it myself).Movella are stuck in the middle ages when it comes to granting accessibility to their software and I fear I'll have to pay thousands of pounds just to be able to use their software with it.

Xsens has a similar interface with trigger messages which is shared across Vicon, Optitrack and now Rokoko. Also if you looking for advanced and ready to go solution for sync, I would recommend to have a look at PeelCapture.

@@Neill3d Yes, it's ridiculous. I own one of their suits. The data quality is solid for a non-optical system, but the pricing for basic features like UDP, exporting FBX, or ANYTHING else other than recording data is criminal.

In humanIK window there is a tab Definition. Above the tab there is toolbar with buttons where you can find a button to Load Skeleton Definition and Save Skeleton Definition. When you press button to Save Skeleton Definition, a new popup window appears and you enter your template name and path where it's going to be stored. And that will generate a new configuration xml file.

@@aryyadey2700 if your models have the same skeleton naming and structure, then one template could be applied to all of them. just open a new model, select hips, load the created template.

I just tested yesterday from a Maya target export and it works for me. Could you please share which export option did you use ? maya, mobu, etc in AccuRig? and which version of maya /mobu do you use ?

@@Neill3d thank you for the fast response, I used Maya target export and followed the steps specified on the video (saving xml in the same folder, selecting the hip joint before applying preset, etc) I wonder what could it be. the only difference I see between my scene and yours is that my character is made out of diferent meshes (eyeballs, tshirt...) but still skinned to the same skeleton, could that be the source of the problem?

Hi there. I did it and it works but now when I set a key frame in a controller all the other controllers also get keyed. And deleting a keyframe in a controller also deletes it in all controllers. Do you know a way to fix this?

if I understand correctly, you are saying about keyframing the humanik control rig effectors ? in that case, the logic depends on a body mode you have - it could control only selected, body part elements (left/right leg, left/right hand, head, etc.) or keyframe the whole body. I would suggest to learn more tips and tricks about humanik

if you can't see device icons, that means the plugin is not found, like not a proper path, or the plugin is failed to install, like some dependency library is missing or a wrong build version. could you please run motionbuilder with a console (run from command line with adding -console argument) and see what error do you have on loading the plugin.

it's better to save xml file directly from the repository. You can do that by opening a raw view of the file and then save in the browser. what kind of error do you have ?

what animation do you want to add ? and in which software do you want to add it to the character ? do you mean to retarget some mocap in maya or motionbuilder ?
