Honestly I wouldn't do this. Wireshark wrap already comes with Eve-Ng - no docker needed, not Eve-NG pro. I would run eve-ng community - ideally on a proxmox bare metel hypervisor. Now... Proxmox can run LXE containers all day long. If you need them. Most importantly you can run as many community instances of eve-ng as you like - with no _oops, i locked myself out of my own system by trying to license it._ How embarrassing.

When I executed the command #sudo apt install eve-ng-dockers and it changed my community edition to Professional edition. I don't have Professional license :( Now I need to roll back. You should have mentioned this on your thumbnail. Your thumbnail says "Run Docker Containers in EVE-NG | Why You NEED EVE-NG Pro" or maybe I misunderstood something

Question please - I don't get it multicast signal is sent to multiple destinations, when the stream is live, does the traffic go all over the internet trying to find hosts/routers listening to the port/IP of the service? sounds like alot of traffic - this is most likely sacrilige question, but I come from CCNA, trying to understand Class D Addressing, and am deffo missing something. thank you.

I think the CPUs by an R710 are supported by ESXi 7. Nehalem, Westmere..Epic wasn't a thing yet, so AMD is unlikely to occupy the scokets of that era. If indeed that's the case, pop in another flash drive with a newer ESXi and on the first screen press the keyboard combo to add kernel options. Type in, or append (if there's already something in there, I don't remember,): "allowLegacyCPU=true" then continue booting. You'll get another reminder-warning before final install if all goes OK. Otherwise, if I remember correctly, it kernel panics before install, so you'll still be fine bc it crashes before modifying anything. The boot drive has two installations on it, remember? You can always recover. And now on ESXi 7.0 you won't have to secure Windows 8 or something in 2010ish+ that still runs Flash in order to use vCenter. Although now that I think of it, those two things are independent from each other, sort of. Double-check just in case. Search for the quoted string, keeping the quotes, and you'll find full support articles and blog posts about it.
