In my previous post I forgot to mentioned that I love “Paperlike” products. Paperlike not only protects the iPad screen from scratches (especially if one has the tendency to drop the pencil) but when one is writing or drawing it makes it feel better. The pencil doesn’t “slide” on the glass and the hand or fingers don’t smudge the surface. I think it makes writing feel like a more natural experience.

Your video has been one of the best and most helpful I have seen in a very long time. I have been using Apple products since they had the old clunky Mac computers. I have owned every Apple product on the Market. I am very organized with my MacBook Pro and iMac. No matter how much I try, I have never been able to organized my iPhone or iPad the way I organized my computers. It is very frustrating and distracting. Your video demonstrated tremendous possibilities. This is the first time I have seen a clutter free, efficient, and useful Home Screen. I have looked at your other videos but have not found instructions in how to create a similar Home Screen. Please help. Where can I find the videos or instructions to create the Home Screen shown on this video. Especially instructions to create the shortcuts for work, personal, entertainment, etc. Creating the VIP email, etc. It would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, awesome video. I am a completely blind iPhone user, I have to use voice dictation all the time, no keyboards here. Sending many blessings and best wishes from the blind guy.

Great tips, but with 17.5, it looks like the drag-and-drop tip for Podcast transcripts is broken. When I try it now, I just get the same summary I get with cut and paste.

iPhone keyboard is stupid and unintuitive, takes me twice the time to write or correct a sentence on it as if I was writing on android. Besides it doesn't even have a number row. People tell me "you'll get used to it" but why do I need to adapt to it on the first place? That's not how technology is supposed to work

Thanks, this was helpful even though we're on iOS 17.5. Goes to show you how little CarPlay has been updated in the past year or so since you made this video.

Great, the tip with the arrowheads was new to me, I didn't know that yet! But what I'm still looking for my iPad 11" (USB-C) is a simultaneous connection option for (headphones + micro + charging socket). I would be very grateful for a tip or recommendation.

How do you adjust Siri’s volume in the car? And texts that come through Siri? Mine is set at ear drum rupturing levels and i dont see where i can lower it. Thanks! 15:48

Adjust the car volume as normal, but you must do it when Siri is speaking.

Too many compromises, you can do ALMOST everything, but the workflow for many so simple tasks is often challenging and slow, leading to frustration many times. And the sadest thing of all that it is made so deliberately by Apple. Having non user customisable dynamic volume buttons on an iPad PRO (and on a PRO only, so still a PRO?) Many things to work force you to use Apple services (nicely sad Apple ecosystem) without alternatives, so pencil is great, but supports only a few languages properly. So you can be pro in English, really? I guess Apple has no cash to make it work like small 3rd party companies do. It is a powerfull cripple. Magnificient and sad.

I lost everything on my notes, when I go to the search bar it’ll show suggestions depending on what I write but it won’t let me see the note I took. What do I do if there’s anything?

This is a great video, but I’m always confused about using my Apple ID for my iPad that I use for phone and Mac. Should I have different ones? Or if I use the same how do I keep each device unique in its layout? When I used my Apple ID from my phone for my iPad it basically just copied my entire phone and laid the apps out as a copy basically. I’m totally lost! Thanks for you help! And maybe a video on this would be great!😊

You’re making the absolute best of a poor application. I don’t want "All Photos" as the de facto master album with lots of search options. I want my photos stored in albums which I’ve created WITH NO SEPARATE MASTER PHOTO LEFT BEHIND. The Apple Photo app can’t do it; nor can the many third party apps I’ve downloaded in an attempt to get around this frustrating flaw in the Apple Photos app.

I was just given an Apple tv, but I don't have any Apple devices (only Android devices). Can I still use this device to watch tv.
@ProperHonestTech
@ProperHonestTech Күн бұрын
Yes, absolutely. You'll need to create an Apple ID to work with it, but you can still use this as essentially a standalone device to access all of the available apps.

@@ProperHonestTech At 10:17..." Play me the new Adele album." But that's okay, the video's usefulness far outweighs your choice of music, IMHO.

Ha, fair enough... I was sure I wouldn't have included it in a script, but forgot I'd added it as a caption. She's not my taste in music personally, but sometimes it's easier to just throw some popular examples on the screen!

I was sitting opposite a butcher’s with a string of Greek characters on the front. I took a photo and looked at it, I found a Translate option and pressed it, the words of gibberish was translated to “Greek Butcher”, it was displayed in the same font and colour as the original sign. I lol-ed.

Although my wife’s did fade in as you demonstrated on her Apple Watch 9. Is this a new feature of the 9 or is there another setting I need to enable or is mine faulty? Thanks for the tips!

You paid 1000$ for phone to get better experience. But you are sacrificing everything in terms of saving battery. Why?? We android people don't have to bang our head on the wall to save battery. Our phone lasts for a whole day or even more. We don't have think about our battery health. I'm using an android phone from 2021. That time it gave me around 17hr screen on time. After 3 year i'm still getting 14hr screen on time. 😊
