It’s hard to be sure from the video but it sounds like the AR is about the same db level as the termis, am I way off on that? Also, you had the db killers removed on both exhausts right? Sick bikes btw

Was the DB killer installed in the AR for the video ?

Sweet. How would you get the deep guttural noise for a kawaski z750s 2006? Is it the shorter the can, the deeper the noise?

No idea..you meant the canless sounds? I was just messing around to see the difference btwn stock/termi/no cans/and the AR

+Jeremy Tan Weight-wise, the AR is much lighter (1 short can and titanium link pipe vs stainless steel and 2 pipes of termi) There is a video of a 1098 SF full Termi dyno'ed at 149hp, 87 ft-lbs torque. My AR ran 150hp, but with only 83 ft-lbs torque. Possibly could be more if I used microtec ECU later down the line. I like the AR more due to it clears up the rear wheel. Hope this helps

So no real performance gains, just killer sound, less mass and better looks? Great looking pipe! Can you comment on the seat of the pants performance vs stock?

Regardless of how much hp it puts out, I only enjoy the engine when it opens up at the track, and sure as shit I'll never use all of the available hp..just for shits and giggles

+Le Nguyen I don't know if you have been having a bad day, but my comment was not tainted with sarcasm. I was complimenting your bike, and am thinking of adding this pipe to my bike. Cheer up man, and insulting someone else's bike is not cool. I wish I had the larger engine.

+P Banks Well shit..I took it the wrong way..I do apologize...It was a long day at work. Well, back to the original question you had, the bike runs a lot smoother due to the remap. It will help if you have the MWR 2 piece. K&N doesn't seal the intake as good as the better-built MWR. Since you have no cats, the bike is less sluggish and is more responsive. Lighter is for sure. I ordered it straight from AR. Took them about 3 weeks to get shipped in. Once again, I do apologize for being a dick

+Le Nguyen Hey man it's all good, it must be going around, I too had a bitch of day, LOL! Your bike is legit and I'm trying to eek out more power from my 848 with pipes and a tune, otherwise I have to look for an used SF1098. I love the looks and sound of that beast, and I may have to add this pipe. Have a good night, and don't sweat it!

Ok first, if you dont mind, what was the total cost to get it shipped to you and how long did it take? Secondly, does it come with its own ECU? Sorry I have a ton of questions. I would like to tackle this on my own but if it is too hard I may have to take it to the shop.
@donger84

Total cost the can and the titanium link pipe to US is $1600, no ECU--I reflashed mine with the dyno which I will post later. Installation is a breeze. I removed the exhaust servo altogether as well. When the dealer remapped/tuned my bike, the clear the Check Engine Light from the Dash.

@gonzal59 Oh yeah, by the way, the new 848 Evo comes with the frame mounted steering bracket anyways, so all you need is just go to Ohlins USA website to order one for yours.
@donger84
@donger84 14 жыл бұрын
@gonzal59 Thank you. I got the Ohlins Damper at their website, this came off from a Demo so I got a better deal out of it $450. But, I'd recommend buying the Kyle braket because the bracket kits to mount mine scratched my tank when turning the handle bars to push my bike out of the garage at full right turn When you get it, make sure invest in the gears for track, and take my words on this, you'll get the feel of how the bike should be ridden (not street, its built for the track) :D.

LOL, thanx..the only problem you run into when you ride a duc..people got jealous and key the shit out of you bike..they did to mine on the gas tank..but oh well..lol. the most comfy bike to ride I've tried is the honda cbr600rr. trust me, it's worth your $10,000. Duc is kinda expensive on maintenance and you can't do anything yourself, gotta be the dealership. $145/month insurance for me, full coverage, 24yrs old. Let me know if you wanna know about anything else, no prob, I'd be glad to help

nope...the bike is fun to ride.. Has lots of torque.. A little bit of vibration is not a problem.. But it does get warm when the exhaust heat up though.. Saving up for the carbon Termis..
