Now there’s a show that started well and went to hell quickly.

The US did not fight for 3 years in WWI, we sent troops in April 1917 and it ended in November 1918.

He was in for 3 years? He must have gone over early because the usa did not go over until close to the end.

After he was killed off The only thing that kept me watching was Harrow’s character

It’s Liam’s terror that makes Jimmy seem so scary and gives this scene its tension. Props to that actor.

I've watched Boardwalk Empire so many times now and it occurs to me that the two finest characters in the series are these two FICTIONAL ones, Jimmy Darmody and Richard Harrrow. And in this scene, they actually discuss fiction, with Harrow saying "the basis of fiction is that people have some sort of connection with each other . . . and they don't". But these two fictional characters disprove Harrow's assertion even as he says it; their friendship is instantaneous and sincere, based on shared past experiences and respect--one of the very best pieces of plot/character development in the show. What an amazing masterpiece this series is!

Harrow and that Frankenstein theme was bad ass, he was my favorite character on that show and top 5 in T.V history behind Raylan from "Justified" and Cole from True Detective Season 1.

My favorite scene in the entire show , if u had a friend this loyal , u would definitely know why i say that 💯

This was the very scene that made me realize that this show was going to get really good ❤ a show about real life gangsters but also with two ex soldiers/thugs/assassins is why i fell in love with this show even more Jimmy & Richard the real badasses that nobody ever tried to talk shit to or fist fight , even Lucky & Capone feared these two

I've watched the series probably 5 or 6 times but this is the first time I've realised the way Michael Pitt (Jimmy) delivers that monologue has a very Christopher Walken vibe to it, as soon as he lights up the ciggarette, just the pauses and off rhythm timing to it. Incredible piece of acting all round
