What size is your sediment? We have a sub k to deal with large particles, but still have fine particles < ~70microns or so. Thx.

Any help would be appreciated I recently purchased a 97 7.3 power stroke. Knew the lock cylinder was going, it broke before I could replace. Went in replaced it and the key is still turning back and forth with no/ little resistance. No lights nothing work. Is this an actuator rod ? I can see the rod barely and cannot tell if it is broken any idea how to tell? Any other ideas Ignition switch etc..
@hjjackson052 күн бұрын
The ignition switch controls power to alot of stuff. That's why there's so many wires going to Into it. Your problem is most likely the pin that sticks out of the switch is broken, (the pin that he is sliding back and forth into start position with difficulty)

OK, this was helpful when I wondered if there was some secret to that last "flange" nut. Maybe I can help a bit more for anybody that still has one of these. The three oddball things you need to know on this one are : 1) yes those two long bolts are tough. I used a 5/16" nut driver for hex drivers fit onto a regular 1/4" hex screwdriver. The kind builders use for running roofing screws etc. 2. As noted in the video, the tube going into the first stage is tight. It seemed epoxied in but it comes out. No biggie there. 3) Because I didn't want to disassemble new second stage I also had to free the whole regulator from the tank to spin on the new second stage part. But MAN, that flange nut or whatever it actually is that goes onto the yellow painted tank nipple. THAT nut was like suspension or muffler-grade ON. I could not move it even with a small cheater. And careful there, as you are wrenching it the whole regulator wants to rotate into the fan and could damage it. Have to also hold the regulator in place and while you turn or struggle to turn that epoxied on flange nut. And it doesn't get much looser when it breaks. It moves a bit and keeps holding. I took a torch to it, carefully cause there's plastic nearby and possibly in contact up the metal. But with that, it broke loose, sorta reluctantly moved a hair, then a little less reluctantly. What a PITA. But it's fixed.

Great fix! I have an LT35 and will have to keep an eye on that. Would love to have hydraulics farther down the mill but not sure I can without a cable track.

Come on man. You are just like the moron parents who bring their unrestrained children to restaurants and expect other patrons to have to listen to their whining. When I am seated at a restaurant next to another patron who brought his/her undisciplined children who are whining, I'll ask the waitress to move the morons to another table, or. as in this case, just leave. No wonder Harris has a following.

Thanks for the video! Folks. . . there could be a problem with the adjustment. The factory says that the two top studs have adjusters, so the INSIDE ones should still direct the beam in and out and the outside adjuster should move the light vertically. Be forewarned, USE GREASE, VASELINE, OR ANTI SIEZE on those clips because if you need to make an adjustment or a bulb change, you WILL have to take the lights off! I am planning on creating a custom clip that I can pull put by hand. As a precaution, just put in all new lower case bulbs. Regarding condensation, I am not sure if we can avoid it. Supposedly converting to LED bulbs is a problem because these light projectors are specifically made for halogens.
