Hi i have a month left till my GCSE mocks and i really want to do well because last time i didnt do that well. What can you recommend to stick to a revision schedule because i can never stick to it or i never stick to the timings because i am slow at doing things or i get distracted, another thing is i struggle to know what to do each day to make sure that i know everything for my mocks because normally i end up leaving it last minute and am not good at breakin it up into chunks what do you recommend

Make a google calendar and just try to follow it to the minute for a single day. By the end of the day compare how your day goes to the previous days and that should motivate you to follow your schedule.

Oughta love your effort Ahyan, but I'm really considering getting the tab S9, which is about 2000 dirhams, and has niceties like the pen coming in the box, a nicer screen, expandable storage, and supports custom roms like lineage os. Obviously, the iPad is better for stuff like taking exams, as you can only take the sat exam on things like an iPad mac and pc.

During Ramadan, I used to study after taraweeh & a few hours before Iftaar, and sometimes, even tho I dont encourage it, i stayed up till suhoor so studied at like 2-4 am. I'm planning on making a video like that when ramadan approaches.

Honestly, when I was in year 11, I just did a lot of past papers to a point that I basically knew every question and how to answer it. If you arent able to do that, then I suggest going out of syllabus to truly understand the topics because if your concepts arent clear, you'll struggle in past papers.

Thanks for the sub! For maths; past papers are the most important thing so make it your goal to solve as mnay, even solve other boards if you run out of questions. For chemistry start understanding why stuff happens, go above and beyond the syllabus to understand questions. For biology you need to have everythiing memorised on the tip of your tongue so make flashcards and practice them nearly every day. For Physics your aim should be to understand the topics first and then dive into past papers, physics is a blend of maths and chemistry in a way that it requires both, understanding and problem solving so for physics, make sure you know your concepts and do as many papers as possible.

Hey last year my year 12 results came out and i got BBBC in maths bio chem phy respectively. I didn't retake any. You think it's possible for me to pull those to A stars if i study consistently from now? I have been since the beginning of year 13. What are your best tips? Btw sick editing
@ahyankhan9860
@ahyankhan9860 15 күн бұрын
With BBBC you can achieve A* if you work really hard, and by that I mean literally do as many past papers so that when they throw a question at you, you dont have any problems solving it. A would be slightly easier tho, but for both you'd have to work hard as with anything.

@ahyankhan9860

If you’re struggling, one thing I did when past papers seemed impossible to me is I watched others solve it. Let’s say u have 15 papers total in front of u, 5/15 Id solve while someone else was solving and would try to understand how they got the answer, 3/15 I would try to solve myself with minimal help if needed, and the last 7 id do by myself with a strict time limit, this helped me improve in chemistry a lot.

JazakAllah kahir! I try to avoid it for this reason, none of my videos have it except one I believe. Good luck with your GCSEs, just stay consistent, I think i've said this thrice in the comments now but consistency is genuinely so important, that and doing as many past papers as you can, unlike in a levels, past papers in gcses are straight forward so the more you do them, the easier they get.

Look, there's no point in giving false hope, the reality is reaching an A or A* is pretty much impossible unless you retake your papers, but if you truly want a glimpse of hope, if you dedicate to study every day consistently for 2 hours, you can aim to turn it into B B C, but I dont see it going any higher than that because of the thresholds. I would advise you to retake if you can though. As the comment above says as well, don't study like a maniac, focus on your health and building systems that allow you to study and enjoy life in a healthy balance.
