Hey man, I’m in year 13 currently on a D D E for maths physics and economics. I’ve always been the biggest procrastinator in the world with no real motivation. Like you said about what you did in year 11 and a bit of year 12 I’ve also been just having fun and not really caring about the work. Now that the reality of A levels has hit me I think I have the motivation now. Do you think it’s possible for me to rebound off this situation I’m in? I just need to hear someone say it bro. Love the video

Icl if you work hard rn i can see BBC but idk anything else, all you can do is work hard af rn dedicate like 6-8 hours after college

@@don-co7ktI don’t think it would be healthy to study like a maniac, and not focus on your health? Like, it is important to study efficiently, but not at the cost of your health?
@ahyankhan9860Күн бұрын
Look, there's no point in giving false hope, the reality is reaching an A or A* is pretty much impossible unless you retake your papers, but if you truly want a glimpse of hope, if you dedicate to study every day consistently for 2 hours, you can aim to turn it into B B C, but I dont see it going any higher than that because of the thresholds. I would advise you to retake if you can though. As the comment above says as well, don't study like a maniac, focus on your health and building systems that allow you to study and enjoy life in a healthy balance.

I'm also in year 13, and I'm currently working at BCC in physics, biology and chemistry. Honestly, if U work really hard, I wouldn't say it's impossible for you to achieve A grades. But you're going to have to put in a lot of effort and time. Don't overwork yourself, but be smart in how you learn and revise. I know of a person that went from a D in her Alevel physics, to an A within a span of three months. If you work hard, I know you can do it!

hii, i was wondering whether it's possible from me to jump 5-6 grades during these 4 months and go from a weak 4 to a 9 for my gcses? (this is the sciences and maths I'm on ab btw) or am I too cooked? also how do i persiade my head of science to let me do higher bec im stuck in the foundation glitch literally feels insane but i need to do higher for my real gcses and my last set of mocks are in feb + my head of science won't do any tier changes

what do i do if i get the past paper questions wrong? i’ve done 20+ but i don’t know what to do when i’m done
@ahyankhan986022 сағат бұрын
If you’re struggling, one thing I did when past papers seemed impossible to me is I watched others solve it. Let’s say u have 15 papers total in front of u, 5/15 Id solve while someone else was solving and would try to understand how they got the answer, 3/15 I would try to solve myself with minimal help if needed, and the last 7 id do by myself with a strict time limit, this helped me improve in chemistry a lot.

Hey last year my year 12 results came out and i got BBBC in maths bio chem phy respectively. I didn't retake any. You think it's possible for me to pull those to A stars if i study consistently from now? I have been since the beginning of year 13. What are your best tips? Btw sick editing
@ahyankhan98609 сағат бұрын
With BBBC you can achieve A* if you work really hard, and by that I mean literally do as many past papers so that when they throw a question at you, you dont have any problems solving it. A would be slightly easier tho, but for both you'd have to work hard as with anything.

@ahyankhan98609 сағат бұрын
Thanks for the sub! For maths; past papers are the most important thing so make it your goal to solve as mnay, even solve other boards if you run out of questions. For chemistry start understanding why stuff happens, go above and beyond the syllabus to understand questions. For biology you need to have everythiing memorised on the tip of your tongue so make flashcards and practice them nearly every day. For Physics your aim should be to understand the topics first and then dive into past papers, physics is a blend of maths and chemistry in a way that it requires both, understanding and problem solving so for physics, make sure you know your concepts and do as many papers as possible.

More than enough! Consistency is the only thing that matters, if you study consistently, even if its just 30 minutes, you can achieve it. Do as many past papers as you can.

@AbuHureraArshad3 күн бұрын
@ahyankhan9860 Yeah and,it might sound like i'm making excuses,but Edexcel make your life tedious whereas AQA give me questions that i can't learn anything from.I never learnt why tennesine was not accepted or about an exercise practical or about how to evaluate metals based on density and ability to conduct electricity,apparently that is common sense according to my science teacher(I'm doing GCSE's btw).AQA make q's that are straight up unjustified whereas EDEXCEL actually rely on critical thinking.They rely on critical thinking in a way that if you just think about the questions long enough,their existence will make sense but the more i think about how i got a question about linking two practicals wrong,the more i hate myself,thx for reading

@AbuHureraArshad Man, stop it, its an exam board for god's sake, it's job is to test you guys. Im taking my first yr of A levels and trust me, GCSE'S weren't bad, I got 7 A stars. On track to 3 A's this year. Advice? Just past papers on repeat, revise and repeat.
@AbuHureraArshad2 күн бұрын
@zzaenabz Yeah but how can they test me on stuff i literally haven't learnt and isn't on the spec.If you went on the website The student room you would seem how badly they did in that tennesine question.Or am i just a retard?Not understanding how using the densities and electrical conductivities of different metals to evaluate them makes me that stupid?.If it's a 4 marker about common sense and i only 1/4, i literally don't have common sense?Is that what you're saying?Also you're class of 2024 and i only mentionied GCSE Science papers from 2023.
