Instead of using pricey kirby carpet shampoo use a normal carpet shampoo and star drops mixed together foams like real kirby shampoo and cleans your carpets like new (star drops 99p-2.00)

So, vinegar/water + or bitter apple? Smoosh some baking soda into the carpet using a broom before starting. Make sure your windows are open for ventilation. Use H2O2 on difficult spots before starting.

Hey I appreciate your helpful explanation of how these work. I thought that the green arrows had to be lined up somehow before it went back on, and after watching multiple videos without success yours explained it for me and I was hella relieved. I wish I would've heard that last part about the green light but the sound of the motor blocked out your voice.

Also using my parents kirby g5 for shampooing. They bought this in the early 90s and the machine is still working amazingly. The book instructions left me scratching my head. I googled for a tutorial ave this came up. By far one of the best tutorials I've ever come across. Detailed, thorough and so easy to follow. Thank you❤

Great job on the video. I have had my Kirby Senria II for about 12 years. I am finally going to use the Carpet Shampoo system to clean a rug in the sitting area of my new home. This video gave me a great refresher on how to use my Kirby Carpet Shampoo system.

This system is too complicated. I need to watch the video everytiime before use. I have had the shampooer for over 10 years and still pick up tips on storage and foam sponges and techinques of use. Do yourself a big favor and just buy a stand alone shampooer. If you decide to use this you will face a project each time. You will be on all fours mixing, latching and hooking. I am fairly mechanical. I change my own automotive breaks, cut my own hair, and install my own gas water heaters. I'd much rather change the oil on my minivan than use this thing; but I still do because.... I bought it. Unless you are super mechanical, you will probably use this one time, then it will sit.
