One of my favorite brands of trucks. This one, however, looks more like a 1980 model, as it was the first model year for GMC to offer rectangular headlights.

I've watched this so many times now. Really makes me wish I was born in '73 instead of '93. What a time to be alive. Thanks for documenting such a great time, cheers!! 🍻

Roaring big blocks and 4 barrels, fat Hoosiers on truck diffs, powershifts or just jamming gears. Almost brings a tear to my eye knowing we might never have this again. Make old cars cheap again.

The Grand Cherokee 5.9L Limited was only available in 1998. The 249 transfer case was only available in the Grand Cherokee. Its a great all around transfer case for most people as its in 4WD all the time regardless of conditions, it transfers power front to rear automatically as needed. The 249 had a viscous coupler that would vary the amount of power sent to the front or rear axle depending on traction needs....normal driving it was a 48% front to 52% rear torque bias...but could send 100% of the power front or rear if needed. In low range the viscous coupler wasn't used, it was mechanically locked front and rear 50%/50%. Prior to the 1996 model year however, the viscous coupler was used in both 4 full time and low range modes, but 1996-1998 models got the upgraded 249 with mechanical low range. In 1999 they went to the 247 transfer case instead of the 249 transfer case. The 247 was rear wheel drive until traction loss was detected, then it would variably send power to the front axle. Once traction was regained it reverted back to rear wheel drive again. The 242 transfer case was still used in the grand cherokee until the end othe WJ model year of 2004. The 231 transfer case was no longer used after I believe 1995 as there were very few sells with the part time 4WD system so it was dropped completely and the 242/249 Selec-Trac and Quadra-Trac became the normal....and Quadra-Trac being the standard optioned transfer case, while the Selec-Trac was an upgrade option. The Selec-Trac 242 transfer case was used in the following: Dodge Durango Dodge Dakota (Rare) Jeep Cherokee XJ Jeep Comanche MJ Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ Jeep Liberty KJ (2002-2007) The 242 is no longer used in Jeep vehicles. Neither is the 231 and 247/249.

So, I bought this when I had my 2004 Ford Taurus SE and it said on the desc on Amazon works for 2004 Ford Taurus. Yeah, maybe for the locks/unlocks/trunk and alarm but not the key itself. Tried it on my car and didn't fit due to the cover around the ignition. So, I just kept it just for the remote and left the key alone. Nice video though!

We had a 79 blazer. Fantastic thing. Saved our lives rolling down the side of a mountain. Solid. So we got an 85 blazer. It was wonderful. Tough, it went 230.000 and someone stole it. I wish I could buy a new one,I certainly would.

Per CAMCO - the 6 gallon element (11674) is 6.25" long, and the 10 gallon element (11774) is 8" long. What model water heater did you fit that in? Wondering if I can pull of the same thing in our Dometic 6 gallon with the 10 gallon element.

I have a Grand Cherokee Laredo just like yours and i like that transfer case much better than the rest of them you have more options depending on what type of surface you are driving on and I feel it is a strong transfer case I've never had an issue and I've been through some ruff trails with mine i have a lsd in the rear differential i wish the front was as well.

im now using r290 (refrigerant grade propane) in my r134a car, and its great. For me works about 40 psi, r290 is very good freezing, more and more better than r134a.

I cannot say thank you enough for posting this... You have no idea what your video has meant to me. I'm having a real difficult time right now and my electricity got cut off. It is embarrassing to admit, but I cannot even afford a can of white gas for fifteen dollars to light a couple of my lanterns and camp stove to cook.... Thank you so very much again for showing me that regular gasoline actually could work. God bless you

On our 1971 Ford grain truck with a 2 barrel carburetor I am spraying starting fluid directly into the butterfly and it is in the open position, but the starting fluid is just running out from somewhere in the carburetor, rather than getting into the intake manifold. What would cause that?

Hello there, could I use a fragment of your video for my coldstarting compilation? Of course I will put a link to your original video in the description, increasing the original’s popularity too. Thanks a lot for you answer in advance :) Also what do you mean in the description that the carb is not there at all? Or perhaps you mean that the choke is not there at all? I don't think it's possible to run an engine without carb unless propane only :D? good video anyhow, cheers!
