I’m living in Armenia Quindio. It’s substantially cheaper here but still expensive considering what I was paying 7 years ago. But the exchange rate was $1.4 mil/$1. It’s $4.41 mil/$1 now. We are renting a great finca in Filandia for $300/month. I’m paying about $1000/month in food, restaurants and kitchen supplies. $$65/month for 2 cars and one moto. $150/month gasoline. $500/year for SOAT. Cellphone $18/month, electric $75/month, water $12/month. Health insurance $60/month. October cost $7.576 million pesos (including $1.5 million pesos for 3 days 2people in San Andres). In other words $6 million pesos everything included less vacation that month.

I like warm weather,so Barranquilla was nice but not enough good looking women. Cartagena was a little better,plus more things to do & places to go. Cali i enjoyed because of the nightlife vibe and beautiful women. Also no problem finding top heavy women there. Just wish i had gone to Bogota and Medellin but never got around to it.

What up brother? Id like to give my perspective on the topic: Envigado is very safe. You can pay a little less than El Poblado (2 bedroom, 2 bath with everything included- pool and exercise area up top,internet, furnished, for about $800 a month, more or less) and also have plaves to eat and walk. Its about a 10-15 minute drive without traffic to El Poblado. To be honest, I dont go to El Poblado since I dont party, drink or smoke. I love Medellín and can't wait to retire.... 😊😊😊

I have been to Colombia twice now and love it. I was in Cali and Palmira and just got back from Medellin. The Provenza and El Pablado neighborhoods were amazing.
