That Japanese restaurant is not good at all. I just ate a salad there. Nephew got sick. I will not buy a mega world condo, market is way overpriced. Yeah the stuff around it makes good sense but everything feels claustrophobic to me.

Diego, If you think the condo market is overpriced ? If everything feels Claustrophobic. In order to get a large condo, its really going to feel overpriced. It's hard to get away from the claustrophobic feeling in a condo if you are use to a large home.

Hi Richard, I just self insure when I am traveling. The rates vary a lot depending on your age, Drinking, smoking , Family history, Preexisting conditions etc. The costs are much lower in the Philippines compared to the US. You would need to contact a few insurance companies directly to get a better idea.

I was born in Sacramento and I agree, it is so expensive here. Luckily I have my own business and my wife works for the state so we are living pretty well. We have gone all over the country try and yeah, we could live way better somewhere else but we miss the weather here a lot. We definitely pay a weather tax. And Sacramento is 100 miles away from Lake Tahoe and 100 miles from the ocean. We definitely pay a premium to live here and we are ok with it,

I grew up in Carmichael and Fair Oaks. The one thing I do really miss is being able to drive to Lake Tahoe. Many great memories of Tahoe. Thanks so much for the comment.

Totally agree!!! Moved from Monterey to Las Vegas. So we live in Thailand 6 months and Vegas the other 6 months. It was a no brainer. We own our home free and clear. My wife’s son lives in our house in Vegas so the house isn’t empty for the time we are in Thailand. He pays all the house and car expenses too

My grandfather may me promise to never let any woman know how much money I have or how much I make. Every woman guesses where you are financially. Is their guess is MORE than you actually have or make. They lose respect for you. If it is LESS then way are you not buying them something you cheap basturd. And if they guess EXACTLY right about your financial situation. Then YOU gain nothing! Si why would any man ever let a women know about his finances. Keep them guessing. Its safer

lol I'm 56 now. Every year that goes by, I run into more odd contact attempts from young hot women. I haven't fallen for a single one of them, mostly because I'm loyal to my wife, but also even if I was single, I know damned well that young women aren't falling in love with old men. They might pretend to fall in love for old money, that's about it.

Even if you get married to a "good" woman, a man is still rolling the "dice". Better to not be married at all=why try to own someone and then they wind up owning everything you worked for or doing bad things to you?

in most states it's 50-50 unless you can show you came into the marriage with a large amount. it doesn't matter if you have seperate accounts or not.

In the USA i was 44 and had a live in smoking hot 22 year old lived together for 5 years i bought a car under only my name i asked her for some rent every month on my mortgage free house when she left becaause she wanted kids and i didnt she wanted the car i said nope and sold it in 3 days the last thing i told her was "GOOD LUCK"! Ive been living the dream for the last 20 years now 63 i live abroad the last 10 years. Married the last 3 years known my 40 y.o. wife for 7 years total still a smoking hot insatiable filipina its all good never asks for anything and definitely is nothing like the woman portrayed by all these western vloggers but if she leaves because of another guy who would want to stay ? Not me if she leaves that happens everywhere im not 16 ive been around

Yup. Extremely rare to see a man in these comments. Just live the way you want to live and let her figure out how to follow and fit into your life. If she doesn't like that then no problem, let me get the door for you. I'm going to pass on marring again. Did it in the US and got out clean, but I didn't see any upside. The risk is less in PH, but I still don't see the upside.

I just had that conversation with a couple that currently are having financial problems. I disagree with separate bank accounts, I think both the husband and wife should be involved in how the money will be spent. Even better, before the couple gets married they need to go over each others credit report and find out how good or bad they handle their finance. You don't want to find out after getting married how his/her credit report is bad. financial problems is the leading cause of divorce. thank you

So I have one question for you. How many couples do you know that actually look at each others credit report? It's a good idea . Perhaps if you had a spouse pulling money out of an account everyday without telling you, you may have a different opinion on this?

Last time I got married in the US at 43 I sure didn't show my wife my assets. She knew I owned a house and about 1 checking account I put money into to pay bills she knew about. Beyond that it was none of her business what I had before marriage. When divorce came she couldn't take what she didn't know about as long as I kept lawyers out of it. I would have been a fool to show her everything. What reason would it serve? Impress her? I ran a credit report on her not just to know her financial state but also some of her history.

@@whereisgregnow5989 i am an old fart and it would never cross my mind. maybe if i was 50 years younger. old guys who go there for romantic purposes are just setting them selves up. i think a lot go there because they have to go to a cheaper place because they have no money, just social security. if the girl is in it for security don't be surprised they leave when a better deal comes along.

no young person ever want to do anything with old fart or old hag, no matter how you want to spin it. We have to accept the fact that everything in life is mutual benefit, everything is in exchange. As for men, it is always resources for companionship, the older or less attractive you are the more expensive it get.

@bradbradshaw-i4n I think you may be 100 percent correct. The same situation applies in the western world. Most people are opportunistic in their ways.For many older people its a choice, keep working or move to a cheaper location and enjoy your remaining life with perhaps a better lifestyle.
