This is great easy DIY framing demo for those of us who need to do our own framing due to budget constraints.

Just a quick message to say 'Thank you' .. I'd never of thought of that if I hadn't of come across your video, so genuine Thank You. I know this is quite an old video, but where do you buy your Thread Heaven from nowadays? I live in York, North Yorkshire & the cheapest one I can find is around £8 to £10. Do you get yours any cheaper, if you do, could you share it with me, so I can also buy some, although now I have my little trick of pulling a bit off, I shouldn't need to buy so many per year. Kindest Regards Angela x

Great idea on how to reworking the way of tacking on the backing that comes with the frame. I have been discarding my backs and brown paperbacking mine over the cross stitch/foam core. I then screw in D rings and stringing wire. The only limitation is being limited to wood or mdf frames. Yours is a super idea!

Extremely useful for beginners. Lots of useful tips such as sorting out the colours and symbols and tidying it all on a card. You have a lovely calm voice and manner. Thank you! 👍🏻

I've written before but of all the videos your instructions have stuck with me for best practices. I've asked before about your scissors which I love. Can you share their brand name. I haven't been able to find them. Maybe with the brand name I can.

I totally get you on the loosing the stitch bug. It's happened to me a few times in the past few months. I can be stitching every spare second one week and then can't bear to look at it the next :P but I just know that it will come back and I'll be back loving it again soon :D On another note hope all your Christmas events go well! I always loved Christmas carol services and stuff at school ^_^ such fun!

Great video!!! You should be able to search youtube on how to use a laying tool. The laying tools in most videos are usually tools that are hand held....but I think the trolley needle is a type of laying tool that just attaches to a finger rather than being hand held.

New subscriber here. Hello from Arizona (USA). Your cottages are absolutely believe and I love how you finished the month of April off! Off to watch more of your videos :)

Love your cottages! I have used a trolley needle with needlepoint for years. It really helps threads lay straight. I have tried it with cross stitch, but have poked a hole in my linen more than once! I would like to see a video, too. By the way, the part that goes around your finger is a banjo pick. My husband plays bluegrass banjo and uses them.I hope you get some Stitchy time soon!
