I lived in Korea for 4 years and sadly none of this is surprising. In the little social group of foreign teachers I was in several of the women had incidents of sexual harassment. Contacting the police is pretty well pointless they aren’t interested in crimes against foreigners.

I know that there r many places in Korea which u don't know that such rape case could easily happen like local karaoke room etc but then u have to prove that u actually resisted him as best as u could like ur bruised lips by being punched by the punk by exercising ur common sense etc. There r punks who have been very repressed sexually that they won' t hesitate becoming very violent to fulfill their sexual release just like any other country like Japan n the States etc. It's all the same all over the world as far as punks r involved.
