What's with all the denials? Killing that many ppl is just obviously wrong, period. Regardless your political side. To think otherwise, not even to mention supporting it.. is just pure evil. The fact that it's going on for this long is just telling you that the main Boss told the lower Bosses of the world to look the other way.

I have an Aeropress espresso maker. Instead of an electric pot, I just microwave a cup of water which takes a minute. I would imagine one could do the same. If one needed two cups to preheat they could use a pyrex 2 cup measuring cup.

I have 6 bar of line pressure into my machine, so 6 bar in the e61 before I start the pump so I suspect that adding a mushroom like that would be a bit uneccesary 😆

FYI - I've been shaking my blade grinder for like 10+ years now, so if I'm shortening it's life, I haven't noticed it yet. I also bang it on the counter on an angle to loosen any grinds that stick... :-)

Hello, thank you for the explanation. I have exactly the same shower screen as shown on the video (IMS E61 200 IM). Based on your experience (you mentioned you use both IMS - screen and basket), which IMS basket would you recommend for me? I usually use 18g in. I would be really grateful. P.S my machine is with E61 group head (Sanremo Cube with rotation pump).

Just found this video. Well done, and thanks for the idea of teflon tape on the threads. I’ve had my Niche for three years, but last year the threads on the funnel failed (galling). Niche sold me improved replacement parts at a very reasonable price, and I’m still a happy Niche user.

What if I have a 10 cup pot and am making 6 cups using the reducer? I can't really do all of the leveling the same way. Please and thanks. ACTUALLY no one has done a vid on using the reducer...would you do one..or lead me to one. I've been looking for days now. Thanks.

My grind is very irregular. I think I need to do this. When I took it out of the box I think I tightened it too much and the grinds were way too fine. Now I can’t get a decent extraction no matter what I do. Seems like I have larger clumps in it even when I use my distribution tool. Did I damage my burrs?

I just removed my burrs for cleaning and did not make note of the alignment. After rebuilding the machine I noticed no particular difference. Should I be concerned? Why does it matter if the burrs are aligned when one half rotates anyway..?

Guinness in bottle's used to have live yeast in it. Now all Guinness is pasteurised killing any benefits. All those adds are from that time.

For those preferring to sometimes make a decaf shot, the paper can help smooth out the sometimes less preferred dark notes often found in decaf beans that are most often darker roasts.

Hello, I just tried this method and wanted to review: The coffee towards the middle brew JUMPED out in a violent fashion (which I've never experienced before), just as he warned at 5:45. The beginning pre-infusion bit was gloriously thick and dark. All in all - a delicious cup and better than mine 😊 Thank you Edit: the ground is lavazza oro (meant for moka pot)

LOVED your video! I just tried your method and it made a huge difference. My key error was tamping the coffee grinds - a bit, not very much - in the grind funnel... this si the very first time I hear a clear explanation why tamping the coffee is bad!

Hi!! I am trying a 4 cup moka pot and ready to toss it out! 😂 My vintage pot has never been a problem but the newer ones…. so this 4 cup I used 20 grams grinds (grounded by a local coffee shop from a fellow who uses a moka pot himself, this to eliminate error, 50 grams of hot water at 190 degrees F, it takes 4 or more minutes to come out at a medium temp on an induction (4 I used out of 10 heat numbers and reduce it to 3, when it starts streaming. It’s incredibly slow, coming out with no creama, then the wet puck looks like half the grounds are missing on one side. There’s always a good size dent on the top. Any suggestions? It’s a new Moka Bialetti stainless pot and I use their plate for the induction stove. Thanks! 🙏 Actually using 20 grams of grinds filled the basket completely and I wondered if it was too much but the puck afterwards came out solid and eventually. I’m on the right track with weight perhaps. Wasting a lot of gourmet coffee. It has its price perhaps. I’m doing this for a friend who got a moka pot for Christmas but nothing would come up in his. Thanks!

The Flow Control on the Lelit Bianca is better… it’s way better to control than the ECM/Profitec kit. I like to use it for per Infusion and ramp down. I most likely do a leva profile… quick fill until 1bar, close the valve(pre infusion phase 8-10seconds), full ramp up to 9bar, then I slowly close the paddle(declining phase) until I reach my desired yield.

I don’t see any use of the single basket. If I want a smaller cup of espresso, I will make a Double Ristretto instead. I tried the single basket in the past, it didn’t worked out for me… difficult to dial in and I can’t use my normal puck prep routine without changing everything… it’s not worth it(at least for me).

Is it really necessary to install this pressure manometer on the group head? For example, if a machine already has one (like the ECM Classika PID), what is the advantage of the extra pressure gauge on the group head?

Question, Is the scotch tape method food safe? I was thinking of 3d printing a leveler for my tamper, but recoiled with the complaints about food safety. Then I found your scotch tape method, which seems interesting, but does raise similar questions about keeping a scotch tape in constant contact with a metal basket that constantly gets heated and whoose contents are routinely ingested. Thanks!
