I got the bottle yesterday and I totally agree with you, I get too much the original black opium and on my skin it smells very much of orange blossom with a mix of coffee and a little bit of marshmallow. I don’t really get vanilla. I had bigger expectations towards this flanker though.

For this price and lasting 3-4 hours ,it must be pass for me😞

I just got a travel in this and I really do like it. My favorite one is the four vanilla one I can’t remember off hand what that one is called but I do like that one best. I was not thrilled with Over Red either.

I have to say my thoughts on this…. I was so excited to smell this and got a sample sent to me and very disappointed in it 😮for everyone who is saying they love they must have got a differnt perfume cuz mine has zero marshmallows zerogourmand zero sweet it smells like a man’s cologne and I despise it lol and I have smelled the original and did like it with the coffee note but this glitter has bombed big time to me anyways

I got the 1.0oz and I’m glad it’s meh… 🫤 the Black Opium line from YSL is my favorite, but this was definitely a disappointment. Le Parfum is my favorite of all the flankers.

I think I’m done blind buying black opium flankers! I was disappointed with this one too. I get the grape too, which I am not a big fan of.

Honestly I think the brands instead to release a perfum every year they should do a better research to release a good and new fragrance, but unfortunately they only care about profits and raising the price, I ordered a travel size of this new flanker and previous 2 (over red and le perfum) let's see what happens

I love your reviews and how descriptive your are. I love the look of this bottle and as I’m in Australia 🇦🇺 we haven’t gotten it here as yet. I am looking forward to smelling this as I like love don’t be shy (but don’t own it yet) and also the original black opium. I’m with you that I love to really enjoy my perfumes and it’s my favourite part of the morning to decide what I’m going to wear for the day. With a large collection it have to force myself at times to refrain from grabbing my favourites all the time and share the love a little across my collection 😂

I love floral perfumes. But he's absolutely 💯 correct. I have this perfume gifted by my dgtr and it does smell VERY baby powdery with a hint of orange and rose. I don't smell anything else. It is strong also, the scent lasts for hours. I don't think I would have bought this for myself. I don't think I'll ever buy another replacement bottle of this either.

So, ive been with my husband a total of 26 years now. Ive always bought perfumes that i love, and make me happy. However, my husband had never ever commented on my perfumes when worn. So when he asked me what I wanted for Christmas, i told him i wanted him to go and pick up a perfume he would love on me (he knows nothing about perfumes). Well, i guess the lady at the store had him smell TONS of perfumes, and he went crazy for this one. Now for the first time ever, he has been all over me when i put this on. Lol Its very pretty, roses, its so lovely. I really do love it. It doesnt last super long, but for the hours you do get, you do Really smell it.
