hey I have a question that I’ll hope you have an answer to. How are critical determined? What I mean is how is some fruits a crit and others aren’t? What is the process for a fruit to be a crit?

7:49 That is the original Fruit Ninja for me. Respect man. Nice to meet you. One of the games that showed the potential of smartphones with capacitive and multitouch displays 👍 Enjoyed Fruit Ninja in 2010 on my HTC smartphone (most popular brand back then) and the original Apple iPad ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Good old times 🌠 I also enjoyed Jetpack Joyride as well in its prime 👍 For sure those were the interesting days after the boom of smartphones in 2009 (HTC G1 etc.). Crazy times 🎉 Also Steve Jobs was alive, you can be proud of yourself. You reached a lot of people with just 2 pretty "simple" games. It is very impressive!

So cool to hear about someone putting the care and attention into something and not just releasing a half baked product like we get today.

This video is literally textbook reason of why mobile game success in the pass while failing currently. Man devs and company back then threat their products and customers just as high as the rest of game making industry(arguably). Also such a delightful listening to dev explain how their games came to be

Super awesome video! A lot of "editing tips" are less than useful to my work but this was actually interesting and clearly came from someone competent, so thanks for putting this out there!

As someone who spent the time to collect about 40 badges on an ancient iPod Touch 2, I just want to say thank you for making a such an amazing game and making it so accessible. I remember only about 5 games that were compatible with it, and I mostly just played Jetpack Joyride. I eventually upgraded to an iPod Touch 5, which could support whatever game I wanted, but I still defaulted to playing my beloved one-button Jetpack Joyride when I got tired of the fancy games. I’m about to redownload it right now and start saving up for Flash and the steam powered jetpack. 🫡
