But that's "shredded" cheese, not "grated".
@RICHARDINTHEKITCHENКүн бұрын
Techically yes. I just chose that title because analytics showed more search results for grating versus shredding. In either case I think folks get the point. Thanks for watching.

That teflon surface wont last long
@RICHARDINTHEKITCHEN4 күн бұрын
It's not Teflon. It's ceramic titanium. Mine is 5 years old and shows no sign of wear or degradation of the non-stick surface. If it's taken care of per their instructions it will last. Thanks for watching.
@darrenhughes81064 күн бұрын
@ I am glad you replied, I really want one. What type of utensils can you use with it? Plastic? Metal? Just curious.
@RICHARDINTHEKITCHEN4 күн бұрын
Just a few tips: NO metal spatulas at all. Be careful with what you use to clean it after use. Most commercial store-bought dishwashing liquids will harm the surface. The only one that is okay is Dawn origial, not the extra grease cutting crap, or Blackstone spray., which you can get at Walmart. In five years the only time I used any detergent was when I took it out of the box just to remove manufacturer oils. From then on I use only hot water to clean it after every cook. You won't believe how non stick and easy to clean it is so that makes it easier to clean without detergents. A word of caution about warping of the metal surface. With any metal really high temps can cause it to warp if you add cold water. After the cook move the dial to 250F then add hot water with use of a squirt bottle to break up anything food residual. Then use only Blackstone e series spatulas and tongs. They are heat resistant nylon that won't scratch the surface or melt. You can get those at Walmart for $22 as a set. Hope that helps.
@darrenhughes81064 күн бұрын
@ yes sir, you have sold me on one. Thanks!
@RICHARDINTHEKITCHEN4 күн бұрын
Also, if you want, you can go to my channel page and click on "playlists" then click "Blackstone e series" and scroll through all my videos using it. I also show how to clean it in some of the videos. You will love this thing. LOL

Hey Rich, thanks for the quick video! It has been 5 years since I have used mine and needed a quick reminder. I like to put a little salt and paprika on top of my egg and I made sure to cut a pad of butter into smaller pieces and put a little under the egg, a little under and above the English muffin and a little on the inside of the English muffins as well. My favorite cheese to use on these is smoked gouda, Yum!

My eggs stick to the residue left by cooking bacon. What is your secret? I CI are well seasoned, but bacon leave a stuck on residue after cooking in the CI .
@RICHARDINTHEKITCHEN8 күн бұрын
The key is you have to start bacon in a cold skillet, otherwise the bacon will stick and mess up your eggs. The fat in the bacon has to render slowly. Put the bacon in the cold skillet then turn on the heat. Thanks for watching.
