Can you use the teacher's book with other levels or just for primer?

I am considering this for my 3rd grader this fall. You mentioned that you do need the teacher manual. Could you elaborate a little? From what I see in the student workbook, I am wondering what additional resources might be in the teacher manual that make it necessary.

You should do a video on potato recipes ha because it all sounds good. Potatoes are the same old same old over here.

I don't always meal plan, but we have a very busy time coming up so I decided it would be good to have a meal plan in place. And also to plan several crockpot meals so as to not heat up our kitchen during the hot summer. Enjoyed seeing your day.

We use FIAR for all outside of language arts and math. My little one loves it. Their Bible supplement is great too! I have Laying Down the Rails and could never work it, bummer. Maybe you could do a video about how you use it. I agree with you about the Handbook of Nature Study, it is so full of information!

There's not enough time in the day for it all, lol😄 I recently got Little Pilgrims Progress too and so looking forward to starting it in a couple months!

Little Pilgrims Progress is amazing, my kids loved it! It's so sweet the way they illustrated it and such as well.

Long Story Short is just the Old Testament. Old Story New is the New Testament.

Love all your picks! We use the Laying Down the Rails by SCM too for the last couple years. It had a lot of great insight in creating habits. Also I am going to be adding that Bible truths for toddlers to my thrift books order. ❤ Do you think the long story short devotional would be appropriate for a 6 year old? We are reading through The Ology now but I am looking for another apologetic book for next year.
