Great reaction, Deyna. They also did a stripped down acoustic version of this which is brilliant too. Well worth checking out.

The version your listening to isn't the original release mix, and its not fair to appraise the track on it. Its a poor attempt. The original on 24/96 is far superior and is as George Martin and the Beatles intended it to be.

You want to have a really open heart and mind for the Beatles - they are always more than you think so maybe don’t think too much.

Props for reacting to this absolutely fantastic, legendary show. I Played Used and Abused so, so many times, over so many years.

Younger fans of melodic death metal and metalcore have little to no idea of what made In Flames', and those who have not heard their pre-Reroute to Remain albums may as well easily mistake them for any early-2000s metalcore band. It's not often that you watch a concert DVD and almost feel like you are in the audience with the fans that were at that particular show. There were moments were I had that feeling while watching Used and Abused-In Live We Trust, and to me that's an entertaining video experience. The energy level and musicianship of In Flamess is spot on throughout this entire concert, and it's obvious they were feeding off the enthusiasm of the fans in attendance. Let's face it, In Flames has steadily grown a very large and loyal following, there's no denying that legions of fans are lining up to hear their music and see them live. In Flames now is much more mature, more polished, and they still create intelligent metal. In Flames fans who maybe is not so enamored of the more recent material, seeing them perform these older tracks should be a pleasant surprise. In terms of camera work, there are no spectacular trees being pulled out, but the images filmed from the audience are particularly pleasing and create a live atmosphere.

So this album was heavily influenced by LSD - thus the trippy . “ c’mon play the game existence to the end of the beginning, the beginning “.

Great reaction! I love this video because it shows that even though the music is hard and aggressive, the musicians can be just cool and goofy guys.

The vocalist predominantly used Type 2's in the early days, but as they evolved its sound coupled with vocal chord deterioration, switched to Type 3's from Reroute to Remain onwards. The performances have slowly taken on a much more higher-pitched range since Reroute to Remain, whether this be due to age, studio manipulation, or improved techniques to avert vocal decay. One of the reasons for the change was because vocals were badly damaged as a result of the guttural growling over the years, so was forced to do more clean singing as otherwise would blow out vocal cords completely.

there are not many legendary shows like this one, it doesn't happen often i dont know how to describe the feeling, but some performances will never be matched again, Metallica Seattle 89, pain of salvation ending themes dvd, gojira at red rocks, argue with a tree by blue october...and in flames at sticky fingers

hell yeah, finally congratulations on the 9k, you deserve a lot more, you are the only reactor that actually do cool bands/shows like this one from in flames 🤟🏻

You really should check out the jester race. When those melodies like in moonshield were much more present and it was much more of an art of itself. Rather than just a mosh and jump group (which I also like but it's just different... More emotional)

In Flames in a live setting is a religious experience. I’ve seen them over 5 times. My Sweet Shadow is such a beautiful set closer. You must see them live.

Agree, I haven't listened much to their albums after Reroute, but I always go see them live when I can, one of the best bands live!

Thanks for the reaction and greetings from France! Sorry for my bad english. Kyo's voice range is huge. He's a monster. In live, I think of "Repetition of hatred", but if you want some very deep choice "The world of mercy". And if you just want a heavy riffs and a short song with prod sound: "THE IIID EMPIRE [PV] [VESTIGE OF SCRATCHES VER.] [SUB] [HD]" SO GOOOOOOD ! And a guy in comments told you Mike Patton. That's accurate. The only other guys I can bring you is Devin Towsend. An another monster. Seeing you maybe in another react!

If Iron Maiden did dancing Queen on a garden rooftop 😂 I remember when Rock used to be “rock”? And when Hard Rock used to be music that was ‘harder’ than rock? Heavy Metal (or just ‘Metal’) made it's debut and was much more aggressive. Then everything sped up and their was [very briefly] a tag called “Speed Metal.” Then it splintered-off into all things “Thrash Metal”, “Death Metal.” Some bands joined “Hardcore” music with Metal and it was labelled “Hardcore” or “Crossover. Then everything went “BLACK.” Metal ‘sped’ up, what about when it slowed ‘down’? Simple = just call it DOOM. Then in the 90’s all the “Nu-Metal”, “Rap Metal” Metal surfaced. What are the accepted slang words or adjectives used in the past decade? “Thrash Metal” and “Speed Metal” are still hanging in there “True Metal”. All the others, of the sub-genre race and the splintering of the music scene into tiny micro sub genres. Ambient/Experimental, Black Metal, Death Metal, Doom Metal, Folk Metal, Gothic, Grindcore, Grind, Heavy/Power/True Metal, Metalcore/Deathcore, Progressive Rock/Metal, Punk/Hardcore, Rock/Alternative, Symphonic Metal, Pagan/Viking/Epic, Stoner Rock, Thrash/Speed Metal, Heavy metal subgenres, Alternative metal, Derivatives of alternative metal, Funk metal, Nu metal, Rap metal, Black metal, Derivatives of black metal, Viking metal, War metal, Cello metal, Christian metal, Derivatives of Christian metal, Unblack metal, Crust punk, Dark metal, Death metal, Derivatives of death metal, Death ‘n’ roll, Melodic death metal, Technical death metal, Doom metal, Derivatives of doom metal, Death/doom, Drone metal, Sludge metal, Experimental metal, Extreme metal, Folk metal, Derivatives of folk metal, Celtic metal, Medieval metal, Pagan metal, Glam metal, Gothic metal, Grindcore, Derivatives of grindcore, Deathgrind, Goregrind, Pornogrind, ndustrial metal, Latin metal, Metalcore, Derivatives of metalcore, Melodic metalcore, Deathcore, Mathcore, Nintendocore, Neo-classical metal, Post-metal, Power metal, Progressive metal, Derivatives of progressive metal, Djent, Speed metal Stoner rock, Symphonic metal, Thrash metal, Derivatives of thrash metal, Crossover thrash, Groove metal, Teutonic thrash metal, Traditional heavy metal.
