I just realize when you were talking that you live in Bellingham, which is 30 minutes or so north of me and (MARYSVILLE )you have a lot of cool knives and I’m very envious . Where do you get the ability to purchase all these things always made me very curious, are you a part of any knife groups in the Pacific Northwest? Would love to join. You show a lot of brown knives from Blaine do they have storefront to visit? Would be insane if you met and showed the maker with brown knives.

Whts with the finger nail.thing ? Regarding sharpness ? My frined and his dad were always talking about cutting their nail to.test sharpness i dont get it . I can shave my nail with a 90 degree spine but then the blade thats shaving sharp.digs in so much it doesnt scrap well cause it wants to bight all the way.

If they made these in titanium I would buy one in a heartbeat. Stainless steel is just too heavy for a pen like this. Anything under 1oz would be good I think.

"Spyderco's are usually dead center". That are certainly NOT true. I have yet to purchase a production model that ARE centered, they are often way off. Sometimes barely clearing the liners. They are also usually fairly easy to center though. Spyderco are lacking heavily on quality control. Sprint runs and vendor specific models may be different. I got one sprint run model pm2, and that one was perfect out of the box in any way.

1st time I've ever seen ur channel. U sir got me subscribing now, I just saw ur #1, which won me over. Ever thought about just barely sharpening the broken tip, and I do mean, barely, like don't even make it into a tanto, just barely make the broke part sharp?

could just grind off the pin and take the handle off and then modify the handle to fit the bigger blade. might need to grind a bit on the blade to make it work. but cool project no doubt!

I'm glad I am not the only one who noticed the issues with this knife. I really wanted to like this knife, but I'm returning it. I wish I had found your video before purchasing. The handle is definitely resin. Mine came dull with poor finish.

Thanks for talking about these models from Victorinox. I have several Yeoman models including a Swiss-Bianco Yeoman with the cyber tool set. My job profession is an inspector so I use the Yeoman magnifying glass quite a bit, I was able to find some tweezers with graduations for centimeters and Inches etched on them,, which is really cool. I also modified one of my Yeoman models to have a flashlight in place of the screwdriver to help in my inspection work. I think people standing at counter at a sporting goods store would opt for the explorer because it seems like it's cheaper and has more tools that's why the Yeoman fell out of favor. The sporting goods salesperson would have to know and explain that you get all of the tools that the explorer has to make a Yeoman sale. By the way I've always wanted to make a video like yours but I blank out on words more severely than you. I appreciate your diligence. Good work!
