Thanks for the video. I'm looking to pick a Xyro up on the secondary market.

The detent on my Xyro is dialed in perfectly for both the front flipper & spydie flick…so it was interesting to see the variance in your detent. I was really impressed by mine. The lockup on my Xyro is also much earlier than this one.

Glad they went with Reate, seems like the best of the Chinese OEMs.

Thanks for a great review! (I enjoy your pen reviews, but I've been badly missing your knife reviews!) I really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts and insights. Happy Holidays, and looking forward to more of your reviews in '25!

if they do a production run of the full size Xyro im in. Considering it's kept at the same price or lower.

2:09...What were your initial thoughts as to why this Mini Xyro purchase "might be a regret"?
@pocketprioritiesАй бұрын
@@onceuponareset-ho7fg I figured it would just feel like every other Reate. Which I found in the past. This one is definitely not that.
@onceuponareset-ho7fgАй бұрын
@@pocketpriorities I just received my Mini Xyro today. It's my first Reate and my first GB. I think this one may be a keeper. Although I can't seem to thumb flick it, or use the front flipper to delpoy it. They just barely missed the front flipper and cutout tolerances on the blade. I'm looking forward to seeing what Reate and Bull Knives comes up with next. Perhaps the productions issues (??) that the Bull brothers and Reate had will make this production knife a one-off...but I hope not.

How’s it compare to your Dawn’s?
@pocketprioritiesАй бұрын
@@tctz28 Smaller, more “custom” feeling, rounder edges, i would give it a slight edge vs the Dawn (which if you’re asking you probably know is another of my top 3 favs made in China). Price wise the Dawn wins at $300 vs $460 shipped for the Xyro.
