How's this doing? Building a shop truck for my bodyshop and I'm between turbo and blower. For reference I have built many high HP turbo and supercharged things. My goals are only 4-450whp with the 5.2
@thomasbeyer26 күн бұрын
It hasn't been supercharged in a long time. Me and my machinist friend were playing with different things and I went back to NA for a while then it went twin turbo. And now it has a single turbo 5.7 hemi. Well it will. It's all bolted in I just have to finish it up.

do you change the map scale multiplier section value under Airflow - General to suit the 1.75 bar map? i assume it would give you better use of the fuel table once it is scaled?
@thomasbeyerАй бұрын
Not with jtec. You can scale it and make it read properly but jtec won't let you go past 105 kpa so it's best to leave it alone and understand where the switching point is from Atmospheric to boost. The 1.75 bar usually ends up at 65kpa atmospheric and anything over that is boost. It's a pain but you get used to it.

Do the waste gate through turbo housing. At Top/@ a slant. Like Sloppy Mech style …isn’t the best location, u planed That turbine outlet would be better routed…a 90 then along fender where ecu is mounted and out fender. But that ecu location can’t move much I’d imagine. I just don’t think your thinking about heat temps of the tubes You will melt that belt VERY often

@thomasbeyer3 ай бұрын
@@dalefrost5146 I won't build another one. Sorry
@charlesfields79083 ай бұрын
Late here but for those that don't know the kegger intake runners aren't direct. They cross over one another. Air sucked in down the middle, the left side of the intake feeds the right cylinders and the right side feeds the left cylinders. Longer runners makes more torque shorter runners make more hp. What you lose in torque on one you gain hp what you lose hp for you gain in torque. That's the biggest differences between the air gap intake and kegger style.
