here is how to swap the parts over from your a340e/a650e trans to the aw4 to mount the 2jz to the factory jeep trans. The same should work if swapping in a 1uz/2uz/3uz v8 provided you have the transmission from the donor vehicle.

Thomas, off subject, did the Dakota flywheel/flexplate work out? Will you be making the files available? Good work on all these projects, Thanks, DC

Yes the flexplate worked and my front crank sensor works too. It's going to be awhile before I can afford the driveshaft and controller for it tho. I have no plans on selling files. I can make a flexplate tho.

Have you thought about a price on the flywheel? Cool the sensor worked out on the front of the engine. Mine is a '90 D150 and right now I have TBI so I don't have the sensor to deal with. I'm also thinking about the 8HP for my Roadrunner. I have an A518 to rebuild and may still but I really like the idea of 8 gears. I've done a good bit of research on the controllers and think I would just build my own with an Arduino. Tuning would take a little while but it is all pretty simple and straight forward.

Would this also work with a 2jz to a750e using the a340e parts if needed? This would be to swap the 2JZ into a Toyota equipped with the a750e

I can't be sure cuz I haven't done it but I bet there's a good chance you could.
