I can tell you they will cut from social security and every other public benefit program. During Trumps administration he cut Perkins loans next up will probably be pell grants and additional requirements for Fafsa to get less money in return. He will probably enhance his Tax cuts and extend it along with favorable corporate cuts so then if the government is taking in less money where would the money have to from? government benefit programs including veterans benefits and public education funding. I definitely agree with the hyperinflation choice its the most likely and with all the deregulation Trump is going to do things will get more expensive.

I'm not in the US, but I sold my gold before the recent peak. I sold my house before the local peak in 2022. I'm renting at 2.5% yield and don't find the equity risk premium or present valuations attractive for things I want to buy. I only want to preserve capital, I don't need to make real gains. A manufactured or real crisis could drop gold easily by 40% and the S&P 500 by more, and we have heightened risks everywhere combined with complacency of the type you see at the beginning of a disaster movie. I think I have some time to see what the Fed does with rates, what Trump does, what the money supply does. I am also concerned that since the GFC, the old rules of sound money no longer apply though and hear/appreciate your videos/message. Presently the main things I like are Swiss francs and my own businesses and to some degree the USD, when you consider how likely GBP is to get hammered during a crisis.

Buffet is sitting on $300B in cash and waiting for the dip. Makes sense. I would rather sit on cash and risk missing out on the first 10% growth of a melt-up than go all in now and take a 25% beating in a recession.

The economy would of organically crashed already if there was no fed or of the fed kept rates high which is how a economy should function but this artificial system called the fed is not helping they are a hinderance
