Thomas is a great young man! I saw him and met his Dad a couple of weeks ago at a range in his home town. I also watched him play & grow up as a kid at his home course at the time. I AM VERY PROUD OF HIM & the Gentleman he has become!

Enjoyed this so much. I was able to play this course several times and it’s a truly fantastic layout! The bluegrass rough is definitely an adjustment from the courses we play in South Alabama.

You should check out the Golfweek Amateur tour in Alabama. They play great courses all over the state with some great competition. I think you would like it.

Ever thought of recording a round at the RTJ course at Hampton Cove near Huntsville? Heritage GC and Limestone Springs are my two home courses.

That would be one of the last ones I'd want to see him play tbh. If he was going to play one in North AL, I'd say the Shoals. Both of those courses are 100 times better than Hampton Cove.

In my expert opinion, you leave your second putt short because you fixate too much on the starting line from adjusting from the first putt. when you favor speed or line too much, its usually at the expense of the other. unless you are DeChambeau or Tiger Woods.

Good round! Been waiting for this video to come out since I seen you out there filming. This greens were ROOLLLLLING a couple weeks ago. That putt on 5 is sneaky straight 🤷🏼‍♂️

I don't understand why this course gets the love it does. The ground is so hard that it's hard to put a tee in. The greens when I played had so many weeds on them that they were almost unplayable.

not everything is for everyone- but the firmness and natural vibe is an amazingly refreshing thing when most courses over-water driving up cost, making conditions slow just to chase a specific color of green. Both can be good, but from a pure playability standpoint firm and natural is SO much fun

One of my favorite courses!! Call me crazy, but it’s got a bit of Pursell Farms and a bit of Sweetens Cove. Good people who care a lot about creating a fun golf experience.

Oh man my grandfather was a long time member at Northwood. He fell in one of the lakes one Christmas when I was a kid. I haven’t thought about that course in decades. Thanks man, great vid.
