Summer of 1969 I was home from college and got a job at the country club. ( green valley then) I worked at the “ teen grill” and cooked burgers , hotdogs, etc. made $1.75 per hour, and all I wanted to eat. Great job. :)

Drove by this course alot growing up in Hoover and watched July 4th fireworks there a few times as well. Always wondered what the rest of the course looked like and I’m not disappointed. Beautiful track! Keep up the good work, I love your videos!

I played Member Guest there two weeks ago and the greens were so slippery. Above the hole is death out there.

No kidding, the putting green got me scared. I think they watered it a good bit after the tournament so they weren't as fast as I was worried about

Horse creek is awesome! It’s not the best in the world of course but for $50 I don’t think you can beat it. I played it about a month ago and shot my best score to date.

@@shreddievanhalen1 hell yeah! That's good to hear then. Sounds like it's similar to Cypress Lakes in Muscle Shoals. It's a shorter course, but it's always in great shape and has arguably the purest rolling greens in North AL. At least for public courses.

@ HCC is ass for the price. Better golf and better prices all around. RTJ, Timberline and Ballentrae all play better while being priced better as well.
