I am an Orthodox Catechumen. I will start off by saying this: ever since Christ was crucified, we have been persecuted. Almost all the apostles who spread the faith was brutally murdered by the state. We have had martyrs who have been killed for professing the faith over 2 thousand years all over the world. This is what we are called to do. We have been shown the truth, and if it comes to it we will die for it. Not from fighting in wars against the world, not from hating, but out of love, turning the other cheek, and doing what we were called to do to love our neighbor. Outside of Orthodoxy in Protestants and Catholics, there have been a lot of good, pious Christians, and a lot of bad and hurtful ones too that have done harm and fallen away from Christs teachings. But, you are promoting and talking about a book who's cover correlates Jesus our Lord In a famous Orthodox icon with the most evil governmental force that we have seen in recent years. Please think about what you are doing. When people are asked if they would kill a Nazi or kill baby Hitler, they would say yes without hesitation. When you correlate an entire faith with Nazis, you are saying that the people of this faith should be eradicated and killed. You should all be very careful with what you do with this rhetoric, because it could lead to very real violence. This kind of thing makes me contemplate whether martyrdom is a possibility for us again in the western world... I pray it doesn't come to that, for your sake as much as my family's. Please seek Christ, he forgives all.

I was a nun in a contemplative order for 11 years. Recently, I realized it was a bit cult like with some brainwashing, for instance, I could not be saved if I leave because I would be choosing my own path, not God's path for me. The plus is - I had a unique experience of God within those enclosed walls which makes me what I am today. It took me 12 years self therapy to get over the damage done me psychologically. What got me to watch on cult is - actually not due to my life as a nun but New Age groups. I found there is danger of being unwittingly drawn into similar cult like atmosphere with New Age channels.
