He definitely cares a little about everyone on the team. Despite the situation he is in. He personally hurt Circe. You can hear the anger in his voice killing Alexi after putting a gun to her head. It could sound like he did not give a shit giving Nina encouragement, but it could also just be him being self conscious about his own demeanor and wondering if he came off that way. The look he gives Weasel when he shows up with the rest of the team. Comforting the Bride at the end. Overall a pretty nice guy when he does not have to put on a game face. He and the Bride have a good understanding for the most part.

It's reminiscent slightly of Captain Boomerang and Harley Quinn's dynamic. ...or at least, it MIGHT be; provided these two survive the next season.
